Not sure if this has been covered anywhere today, if so please cut or merge as required admin. The photograph Rangers posted on their official Twitter of a moment of silence for Sir Walter at Auchenhowie earlier, with all members of staff present on the pitch, appears to show Helander in his full training gear and no signs of knee braces or any other dressings on his leg. Is the big man perhaps ahead of schedule, has there been any update on that front?

Having him back, alongside the likes of Jack and Kent for the busy December schedule could be pivotal and see us take this league by the scruff of the neck.

It’s not all about protective wear.
Its about running, turning, maybe even jarring!
Probably still weeks away.

Hopefully the Nigerian trio can play up until the winter break. Be great to see big Fil back ASAP, but it is vital that he is fit and ready for the games post break as Balogun/Bassey could miss around 5 games whilst away.

Lots of people saying Balogun has been their POTY for the season. Can't argue as he has been a rock since Malmo. However, worth remembering prior to injury Helander was probably our best player, certainly our best defender.

Looking forward to big Fil returning.

Have not missed him overall. Which is the utter most compliment to Balogun.

But need him back as I don't want to see Simpson playing for us again

Malmo aside I think Balogun has been our best player this season
He played well last season as well - great business on a free, especially from Wigan who weren't setting the heather on fire.

Malmo was so important though & his generally reliable performances made his display that night all the more annoying.

He was excellent last season but his form did taper off towards the end of the campaign.
