Generally his hold up play is excellent

But people will forget 10 bits of good link up play for the 1 time he gives it away

If his ball retention isn't 100% every game he's f'd because many on here put far, far, far more stock in the 1 error, than th 6, 7, 8 bits of good play

Fair enough, like you I am am looking at it objectively, what I see if someone who is guilty of giving the ball away far more than he should.

I do concede that the position he plays and his role within the team, when he does give the ball away it is probably highlighted more but at the same time, playing through the middle by yourself, you must keep hold of the ball and bring others consistently.

At the moment I have no faith that when the ball goes up to him that he is going to keep a hold of it.
