The Winter Transfer Window (non-Rangers)

Liverpool preparing a bid for Kalvin Phillips according to Spanish newspaper El Nacional. Ancelloti also a big fan.

Leeds would be looking to get silly money for Phillips.

I think this is the guy we were linked with in the summer.

Arsenal, Leeds among Spence admirers

A number of Premier League and European teams – including Arsenal – are understood to have enquired after Middlesbrough defender Djed Spence this month.

Spence – who has also attracted the attention of Leeds – is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest and played in their FA Cup victory over Arsenal.
Any potential deal would see Spence – who is valued around £10m - remain at Forest for the remainder of the campaign as he has already played for two different clubs this season.

Such a side way move. Can Dundee United offer that much more money than Motherwell?

Watt to join Dundee United from Motherwell this month

Dundee United have agreed a deal with Motherwell for Tony Watt to move to Tannadice this month.

The striker - who has 10 goals this season - agreed a pre-contract with United earlier this month ahead of a move in the summer.
But Watt will now make the switch in the current transfer window after a fee was agreed between Dundee United and Motherwell.

I'm sure this will send Scottish football into meltdown in the same manner that Souttar's move to us has done.

Andy Carroll to Burnley, love live Brexit ball :))
He'd be a great fit in a Dyche side but he's not interested in going to Burnley apparently. Wants to stay closer to home (Essex) and play as often as he can. Made his money already and currently playing for peanuts so that isn't a factor either for him. Reading more concerned about Charlton, Millwall etc tempting him than any club north of the gap.

Doubling his weekly wage according to the guys on Heart&Hand podcast.

Don't know where Dundee Utd are getting the money if they are paying Watt 5-6k a week.

I don’t think McGinn’s technically good enough for a Klopp or Guardiola led side, but Man Utd could do much worse.

Watt doubling his wage and not needing to uproot his family. A huge wage increase with no major upheaval. And joining a team who in all fairness have played decent this year.

Fair play.

They are increasing there chances of relegation by that signing surely ? Or has Serie A crashed and burnt its talents
Maybe their recruitment team has spotted something that is worth the investment. Hickey has turned out to be a decent signing for them despite many on here, myself included, doubting whether he was good enough for Serie A.

Cagliari need a big window.

I’m not sure Pedro will be able to keep them up on his own, hope Ferguson signs for them and Ramsay goes to Bologna - would be interesting.

Not sure Aberdeen would want to entertain a loan move though.
