Truly toxic chants from the Celtic support at Dingwall - The Scotsman

There was no escaping the vile and repellent element of the afternoon as Celtic won 3-1 away at Ross County.

Immediate action needed to deal with vile behaviour

There is a section of Celtic’s away support that, frankly, no longer appear to possess basic common decency. A chant borrowing the tune of Abba’s Super Trooper that glories in the deaths of Rangers figures Davie Cooper, Walter Smith, Jimmy Bell and Andy Goram was to be heard grotesquely loud and clear at half time of the club’s victory in the Global Energy Stadium.

It’s time to start calling these sick bastards out and getting video evidence to pass onto the police!

People were charged previously for glorifying the death of Lee Rigby, is this any different?

This needs to go as far as the Scottish Parliament to stamp it out. Totally unacceptable behaviour and a few words from nil by mouth won't cut it.
Any songs Rangers fans sing and they don't like have been outlawed but none as personal, offensive and vile as this.
Police Scotland have been quick enough to arrest Rangers fans on the streets for songs they don't like.
All we ask for is equality and fairness in this country.
Action must be taken.

They’ve had a huge verminous element within their fan base since I started going to the football in the mid seventies.
In my option, they have become more emboldened and their despicable behaviour is worse now than ever.
They are the world’s most horrible fans, bar none.
Their Board have willfully handed the keys over to the lowest form of human life within their support.

Rangers need to call this out so it’s in all the rags and sports channels.
Scum fc will have nowhere to hide and can’t possibly make excuses
The club should have been pro_active in highlighting it last week. Instead we took the dignified silence approach.

Contrast this to how quickly the Celtic board ensured the Kyogo video clip would be headline news on Sky BBC and every other media outlet within hours of it being uploaded.

The Rangers board clearly don't give a toss.

They will do there usual in house investigation when forced into a corner over this, with the usual end result nothing.
