Tried to get into the Louden today carrying a small bottle of water due to the heat. The doormen said we weren’t allowed in with it, and if we wanted wanted we’d need to go to the bar (the place was absolutely rammed at this point and it ended up taking about 15 mins to get served).

Seems a bit churlish to use Seville as a comparison. Most pubs wouldn’t be happy with people bringing in their own drinks, and sounds like fresh water was available at the bar (which you’d be going to anyway). If you were already so thirsty, why not tan the water bottle before entering?

Seville was about 35 degrees. Zero breeze in the air and 140+ minutes without water during the game let alone the hour or two most went in before kick off
