The Louden today

Tried to get into the Louden today carrying a small bottle of water due to the heat. The doormen said we weren’t allowed in with it, and if we wanted wanted we’d need to go to the bar (the place was absolutely rammed at this point and it ended up taking about 15 mins to get served).

Utterly braindead given what happened in Seville.

There wasn't a shop selling water across the road in seville

I get what you are trying to say but this type of stuff is pretty standard in boozers

If you don't have the savy to stick it in your pocket then well that's another story

Why didn't you just drink the water, go in, get a seat and then get water at the bar when you were able to get served?

You weren't going into somewhere without the ability to purchase a drink or ask for a glass of water. If you were that concerned about the heat why push in somewhere that was absolutely rammed? Strange post

Seville was about 35 degrees. Zero breeze in the air and 140+ minutes without water during the game let alone the hour or two most went in before kick off

Vast majority are fine. More posts than threads. Political threads, especially American, are the worst.

If it was to be measured then the percentage of deletions would be in single figures.

So a business does not like people bringing in drinks to their establishment?
That makes sense, most threads focussed on anything American seem to rapidly descend into a political issue.

Surprised at how low the deletions would be, some threads are belters.

Sooo…..all the criticism that was getting levelled at the club yesterday on the “Temperature at tomorrows game” thread regarding common sense and prioritising patrons health are null and void now?? You can buy drinks in Ibrox too, but everyone was to just ignore security because “peoples health came first”…..but as soon as it’s The Louden it’s a different story?? Hahahaha!

Absolutely BRILLIANT!! :)) :))

Did you cry more than Ronaldo after Manchester United got beat 4-0. Also did you ask the bouncer for a fan?

On the topic of water, paging £2.20 for a carton of water in the stadium then not even getting the full carton, just whatever amount fits in a cup, is a shambles.

There's nearly 200k live threads and well over 1m posts on this board. Quick look at the admin room would suggest the figure's low. High from a figure point of view but the split against what goes is much different from perception.

And dis you buy water at the bar or alcohol that further dehydrates you? Honestly not sure what you're looking for in this thread but it's certainly not what you think it was going to be.

How to make an absolute tit of yourself edition 1.

What a pitiful moan but I am glad to say that it looked like club had no objection to water being taken in today as I had no problem at turnstile or inside.

I think most regulars on here know you guys are decent and appreciate your work - yous usually catch the lizards early as well.

Dry your eyes mate.

I'm sure the bar staff would have given u a pint of water and the service is always very quick in the bar or outside.

Just seems another Louden bashing thread for the sake of doing so which is becoming very tiresome on here.

Top boozer, top service and never any issues that u don't see at any other pub.
