David Bowie song for Colak - Ch Ch Ch

My daughter was singing the Halliday song when he get his second. Changed it to Antonio “cholak”, I thought it was quite good tbh.

How does that work though?

Na na na na na Andy Halliday Halliday, Andy Halliday na na etc

Cholak or Colak doesn't fit with Antonio.

Unless it was

Na na na na na Mon Antonio, Tonio, Mon Antonio! Na etc

Which for the record, I think is barely passable.

colak colak,
Toni toni colak,
He gets the ball he scores the goals
Toni toni colak
The most inane song ever to hit the football terraces. Used to cringe when we sung it for Mols. “ eh getsiball and eh scores a goal “ ffs kindergarten stuff.

Colak deserves a proper song

I’ll get my thinking cap on

He comes from Croatia
Scores all the time
Plays for the mighty
Scores all the time

Coz we’ve got (clap clap) Tony Colak, we’ve got (clap clap) Tony Colak

So glad he’s miiiiiiiiiineee

(Glad all over)

What about a tune from 1908 by Florrie Forde. The chorus is "oh oh Antonio"
Some clever bear can provide our own lyrics.

Simple / effective / noisy

On and On
Antoni Colak
On and On
He knows where the goals at
On and On
Glasgow Rangers all the way.

1 2 3 4 Repeat

I'll get me coat!

To the tune of Angelo by Brotherhood of Man
Months ago, we signed a man called Antonio
Give him the ball and he scores a goal,
He loves the Gers and we love him so

He is a constant danger, scoring for fun for Rangers Tonio
