Lawrence out until at least March

Suspected it was a long-term thing and posted as much. Just got the impression from the way GVB spoke so ambivalently about it that he would be a write off for the season.

has any other team ever had any more season long injuries than we do right now. Nobody seems to be 2-3 week injuries, its all long term ones

Maybe a question should be asked at the AGM about treating the fans with contempt
The injury updates given by the previous manager at press conferences were completely inadequate just like his management of the team

So the end of February/early March stuff was true after all. It’s been on here for the last month that he was gubbed.
I posted it. You hear stuff that turns out to be nonsense and other stuff that’s bang on. Unfortunately this is one where it was even worse than what I was told.

Sickening.

A player gets a knock, we're told they're out a few weeks, we never see them again. Embarrassing.

His injury still annoys me. The game was done, we had Sakala on the bench but instead we decide to play Lawrence the full 90 including a 15-20 minute stint up front. Injured in the last couple of minutes. Completely avoidable.

He recovered from that but he injured his Achilles in training before the 4-0 game at Tynecastle.

I’m more annoyed at the ex manager leading everyone to believe he’d be back immediately after the World Cup.

Wasnt he only meant to be out a month originally? This is an all-too-common occurance for us. Needs looked at. Either the club are constantly lying about injuries or weve got Doctor Nick on the medical staff.
The issue is, our club doctor isn’t a dedicated sports physician. Sports medicine is a specialised field now all of its own.

Is there genuinely another club in world football that has our luck with injuries? It's actually incredible.

I was having this “luck” in football manager 2023 too.

Then I looked at our medical team and all their stats were shite.

This was always going to happen, never told about the injury, just told will be back after world cup, just like every other injury we have had this season.

Already

Lawrence - March
Hellander - End Feb

Will be Roofe, Soutter, Goldson, Hagi or Yilmaz bext saying Feb/March before match fit next.

If Helander plays another minute for this club I’ll give you a hunner quid

Our players injuries seem to get worse after seeing a medical team. It is unreal. Lawrence won't be back to next season.

Wow what a horrific season - we should probably just write it off at this point and put it down as a one-off but unfortunately it's becoming the norm.

Seems everybody who gets injured is out for several months (or more).

Fvcking hell. The one player who gives us something a bit different in the middle.
