Exactly. The places with the decent clientele. That is the price in most decent Pubs

It would also cripple some of the pubs on PRWFrom a revenue perspective the money into the club would be huge.
From a fan perspective it would take some controlling.
In the concourse?I think I'm the only person that doesn't want it back. I could see it being a nightmare cunts spilling drink around you
A pint at half time will cripple pubs on PRW?It would also cripple some of the pubs on PRW
I never said anything about half time. Its the 2 hours drinking in the stadium before the game would cripple some pubs on prwA pint at half time will cripple pubs on PRW?
Introduce nothing why the fuk do we need drink to watch a game of football absolute nonsense. Can we not at least introduce it on a trial basis to see how it goes.
You were there when stadiums sold alcohol? When was that? The nick a good number of bears were in last night I'd dread to think what it would be like if they could keep bevvying.
I'm old enough to have been at games before the ban. It was never people having two or three pints.
We can't be trusted in Scotland. The violent arsehole thugs ruin it for the normal people and always will. Then there's the drug use on top of that which would leave it as a recipe for disaster.
Why wouldn’t it be good for the club?Would not be good for The Club, NEH, and Sports Bar are the way to go, drinking in a safe and controlled environment
It would be TennentsAt euro games the past few seasons, there's been a ton of empty bucky and MD bottles kicked under my seat every time. I don't thinkbthat would change if we started serving watered down Carling at 2/3 percent.
I don't mind, but they could at least offer me a swig before dumping them on me.
Where are you getting the 2hrs from? You're just making things up. At the most it would be open an hour before kick offI never said anything anout half time. Its the 2 hours drinking in the stadium before the game would cripple some pubs on prw
Man who runs local pub doesn't want alcohol at Ibrox shockerWould not be good for The Club, NEH, and Sports Bar are the way to go, drinking in a safe and controlled environment
The extra expense would be off the scaleWhy wouldn’t it be good for the club?
It would be Tennents
It would be from when the gates open which is 90 minutes to 2 hours before kick off.Where are you getting the 2hrs from? You're just making things up. At the most it would be open an hour before kick off
Aye its far weaker 0% in Spanish stadiums.Hahaha... Fair enough.
In Spain I'm sure it's Cruzcampo, but again it's weaker than our stuff. I don't think it's tempting enough for punters that want to be wrecked, but reckon clubs would make money off it.
I never said I didn't want it, I want what makes Rangers the most money and that would be NEH and Sports BarMan who runs local pub doesn't want alcohol at Ibrox shocker
“Hello Dr, thing is I’ve got the Gers game coming up & well, I don’t want to go deep about it …”Watching that lot of ours it should be on prescription.
Man who knows nothing about the expense involved in criticising a guy with 30 years experience in the Pub trade shockerMan who runs local pub doesn't want alcohol at Ibrox shocker
Aye its far weaker 0% in Spanish stadiums.
So are other clubs losing money worldwide by doing it?I never said I didn't want it, I want what makes Rangers the most money and that would be NEH and Sports Bar
The expense of introducing drinks in the Concourses would be a waste of time, busy fools
Any idea when that law came in in Spain? Sure at the Seville derby in 2009 I was drinking proper beer. You can drink proper out of the top two tiers over there, been to a few matches and done it. Put me off Spanish Football a bit that you can't drink in top two tiers to tell truth.Aye its far weaker 0% in Spanish stadiums.
Do you mean equipment and the extra staff would mean the profits wouldn’t be worth it?I never said I didn't want it, I want what makes Rangers the most money and that would be NEH and Sports Bar
The expense of introducing drinks in the Concourses would be a waste of time, busy fools
im sure you came out with some nonsense in a previous thread re 'the expense' of selling alcohol in the concourses, as it was pointed out it was done at the commonwealth games.Man who knows nothing about the expense involved in criticising a guy with 30 years experience in the Pub trade shocker
If you go to a decent cinema you can buy a beer and watch the film. If you go to the dogs, you can buy a few beers. If you go to a decent theatre, you can buy a wine and watch the show.No.
Just don't see any reason why ?
Go to the game and have a pint afterwards
Yeah the 100s of clubs in England are all losing money by doing this.So are other clubs losing money worldwide by doing it?
it's part of the enjoyment when i went to the rugby with my son, a beer during the game then able to sit in the 'clubhouse' really just gym hall and have a beer pre/half time/post match. If you go to a decent cinema you can buy a beer and watch the film. If you go to the dogs, you can buy a few beers. If you go to a decent theatre, you can buy a wine and watch the show.
Why don't they just wait as well?
Other Clubs have the infrastructure in placeSo are other clubs losing money worldwide by doing it?
How?It would also cripple some of the pubs on PRW
All bottles as far as I'm led to believeim sure you came out with some nonsense in a previous thread re 'the expense' of selling alcohol in the concourses, as it was pointed out it was done at the commonwealth games.
Investing in the infrastructure to eventually turn a profit further down the line and improve the matchday experience seems in line with every other investment and enhancement the club has ever made. They don't just magically spring up in other stadiums.Other Clubs have the infrastructure in place
If only they consulted a random nearby pub owner with no possible incentive to say it won't work.Yeah the 100s of clubs in England are all losing money by doing this.
Because thousands of beers before kick off would be sold in the stadium to people that would normally drink in the pubs on the prw before kick off. How?
We could designate one stand for the problem drinkers.I'd keep it the way it is, neck a few pints & a couple of half's then sober up at the game.
The queue at the food stalls would be packed with bams like me ordering 6 pints of lager to see me through the first half
I agree and don't get me started on those reprobates who can't go a couple of hours without indulging their popcorn addiction.I want sweets banned from the cinema.
If you can’t go 120 minutes without munching on some sweets then there’s something wrong.
Then again, maybe some people just enjoy it.
It's not a problem as long as I get a tray.We could designate one stand for the problem drinkers.
