For Robertson’s position there are as many candidates as there are other football clubs. Plus non football CEOs who’ve done well and achieved things.

For Wilson you could look at any head of recruitment, scouting, a scout looking to be promoted, or just go with the manager being in charge of signings.

I struggle to think of 2 folk we could bring in who’d be worse.

Wilson and Robertson. Both employees and believed to be significantly underperforming in their respective roles.

I don't disagree mate, not even slightly, just concerned that the current board might either be content to stick with who we currently have or possibly bring in worse (you wouldn't put it past them with our luck).

Either way, money needs to be spent, no matter who is responsible for where it goes, the real issue is where does it come from?

Agreed.

Change to what exactly and to whom. We aren’t exactly batting off investors willing to make losses finding the club.

Some poor decision making at board level this season no doubt but the above isint even logical.

UB’s need a rethink, Ibrox is a worse place without them.

The above said, wouldn’t mind seeing the back of Ross Wilson, though he’s had a better January.

I think you’ll find it’s the other mob across the city who are free to do what they want. The worst behaved fans in Scotland in case it escaped you’re notice got rewarded with a safe standing area and had their own player’s requiring security escorts to their cars not too long ago, they’ve brought record UEFA fines to their club..the list goes on with their antics while our board try to snuff out any public criticism of they’re running of the club by trying to confiscate banners and then they go ga ga over the juvenile ACAB flag that just about every ultra group in existence displays and it looks to me probably as a get it up yous because the UBs had the audacity to criticise the board. I’ve seen that flag displayed at Ibrox and away grounds countless times over the years so it stinks a bit that they’re getting pulled up for it now.

It’s a similar stance from this board as we got from David Murray…pretend to be interested in the views and ideas of the fans but the reality is it’s the same attitude…give us your money, sit down shut up and we’ll decide what’s happening. The idiots and killjoys in our support need to wind their necks in, these lads have been brilliant for the club and team, christ knows what Ibrox would be like without their magnificent input over the years.

The UBs have the support of the vast majority of Rangers followers and if the board think they are going to silence and stifle legitimate criticism they are in for a big shock. Nevermind the young team getting mobilised, older bears now are getting to breaking point with the situation of watching the filth get just about everything all their own way for far too long and my advice to the Rangers board is to focus all their efforts in making sure we get a team on the park that’s going to stop the total and utter piss taking garbage we’ve had to endure bar the very brief elation of getting 55 and restoring pride in the European scene which should have seen us kick on and stay on top of those puddle drinkers for a bit longer.

Your post suggests they are stopping others from coming in.

There is a huge tranche of shares for sale - King's. There's not exactly a queue of people waiting to invest, is there?

Several members of the board are already rich. No one is coming in and pumping loads of their own cash into rangers. The club needs to run sustainably and spend what we earn. For the that to work successfully the football operations (Wilson, Robertson etc) need to run better. Im all for changing those 2 - the investor members of the board, not so much. Folk need to accept there's no sugar daddy riding in and spunking millions.

The thought process among these people will be - we've lost to Celtic someone needs to pay for we deserve better. We can't shout at the board for they have put money in and we can't shout at Beale for he's only just here so that leaves Robertson and Wilson. Lets give them grief.
 
Folk thinking that most held them up because they support it. Most, like my brother and his pals, would have been full drunk and would have held anything up.
 
Understand fans frustrations as much as we may be correct in subject matter, we cannot single out employees for the sack.

Off the field we have made huge strides in recent seasons to the extent we have become self sustaining.

Of course its a loss to Celtic that a few wee boys can't cope with. To think anything else is naive.

Should probably be made a sticky at the top of the Bear Pit.

Entitled nonsense from a section of our support.
We're 10 months from having been to a major European final, an injury crisis away from going for 3IAR (in my opinion). We've a new manager with a record of W18 D1 L1 (I think) since he came in. A section of fans have lost all perspective regarding where we are, considering where we've been.
