Strachan & McGhee Sacked

Two rockets that needed fired.

Honestly didn’t rate Strachan or his sidekick. Strachan typical wee man syndrome. A grade a cuhnt

I suspect Malky McKay will get it. Thought when he was appointed to his current SFA position it was with a view to eventually taking the manger role.
Hope I’m wrong.

has to be

The only realistic choice for me is waiting for World Cup play offs and going for Michael O'Neil if Norn Iron don't qualify.

Not that I care anyway.....

Both will struggle to get another managerial position.

The negative is we'll see more of GS on TV.

The positive is we won't see Dingus again :)

Malky McKay is the bookies favourite. McKay took his current job at the SFA to try to rehabilitate his career after
being sacked from Wigan. If he does get the job let's see how the mhedia treat a man with his history of racism, and sexism.

That would be a conundrum for Show Racism The Red Card (Scotland)

Hopefully whoever takes over can see past the old guard who have failed time and time again and can blood some younger players and mould a decent side. The likes of Mulgrew, Brown, Fletcher and Hanley should hopefully retire.

Good ridance.

How the SFA blazers continue to remain in their positions after so many failled managerial appointments bheggars belief though. The chairman of Cove Rangers is the president of the SFA ffs.

Let that sink in for a second. The guy who runs a semi pro team in Aberdeen paying his players 30 quid a week is deciding the future of Scottish football. Alan McRae and Reggan should be the next to fall.

That list of Scottish managers is depressing as hell. If we have any ambition at all, we've got to look further afield.

They can't look at their time as anything other than a complete failure. Two very poor coaches and Strachan was an abomination as a manager.

However, I await the SFA appointing another Celtic supporting goon to the ranks.

They don't make an issue of the centre forward being a convicted racist, wo why would they bother about the manager?

Unless they choose someone away from the usual suspects / cronies Scotland will go nowhere (so whats new) and whoever gets the job needs to be strong enough to withstand the influence of the mhanks infiltration of prominent positions in the SFA. the excitement of waiting for their next chosen one fills me with intrepid effervescence :D

It wont matter who gets it, as long as all those overseeing our game remain in place fcuk all will improve.

Malky MacKay is nailed on to get it. Wonder what SRTRC will have to say about it.

Some thoughts from the guys at the Terrace Podcast from last year when Strachan almost got sacked - Five Reasons Why Scotland Should Go After Them:

Marcelo Bielsa (though he's at Lille now):

Wasn't Campbell Ogilvie the SFA President until recently?

Spend a bit of cash and get Lars Lagerback or Heimir Hallgrimsson.
Given the jobs they've done previously that's not a bad shout. You know it will never happen though. Even if it did it would only give the press another "crazy foreigner" to target other than Pedro.

SFA incompetent from top to bottom and this will be perpetuated when Liewell and his underlings at Eberdeen, Dundee Hivs and Celtic lite (aka Hibs), appoint Moyes or McKay as manager. Nothing will change.,

F*ck knows who in their right mind would want that job.

Squad of players are utter garbage. Says it all when the likes of Brown can pick and choose when he wants to play as if he's ronaldo

In that case, prepare for another failed campaign or two.

Big Sam has a lot of baggage after the England fiasco. Malky McKay has even more because of his casual racism and sexism so, why don't we go for someone clean cut who was brought up properly. Has to be Big Eck. He did a great job with Walter as manager of Scotland and his teams were always hard to beat.He would come cheap and wouldn't take any nonsense from the blazers at the SFA and his team would be full of clean living young Scotsmen.

Good riddance to a pair of diddies. I only hope the new manager whoever that may be picks players who
ARE playing for their current club.

massive failure since he left Everton.

Nobody is touching him, so of course he's the clear SFA choice naturally. Like Strachan was back in 2013.

Moyes is the obvious choice.

He did admittedly fail at Old Trafford, but that job was always too big for him.

Scotland should be more manageable, although I’ll be surprised if he fares any better than Strapon.

McLeish has been terrible since he left Scotland.
