Ive not been following this too closely. From what Ive read there has been a ruling but nothing has been disclosed outside of the parties involved and the rest is made up bullshit?
Rumours of an £8m out of court settlement?
We need to drop the desire for a heart attack for this guy.I am just going to say this. When Mike Ashley finally gets the heart attack that he has long had coming. I am going to fly to England and take a huge nasty shit on his grave.
Is this their version of a tango moment?Rumours of an £8m out of court settlement?
Mean to say the outcome, with the fewest assumptions made about it, is usually the right one.
fck id pay that myselfSo what one is that in regards to this ? Ashley paid to go for perhaps £3/4? Certainly won’t be much more I can’t imagine .
If it has settled then it will be on an agreed basis between the parties. The court would approve it but only in the sense of approving the disposal of the court proceedings - the court won’t second guess or interfere in the commercial terms of any settlement. So against that background we wouldn’t challenge the settlement because we will have agreed to it.Great post.
I was wondering how much would be good to pay to escape SD forever.
I can’t put a figure on it to be honest, I’d just hope whatever it costs doesn’t have to come out of the club in one payment.
Can we appeal?
If the judge as granted the divorce, is that it, done and irreversible?
Would it be wise to challenge the settlement?

I’m not in the loop, nor qualified to say! But a rational person must see it’s worth getting rid of him, (almost) at any cost. His stranglehold on a huge part of the Club’s income is not sustainable. So what one is that in regards to this ? Ashley paid to go for perhaps £3/4? Certainly won’t be much more I can’t imagine .
Are you for real?
Your getting mixed up. £44m is what Barcelona want to pay for Tierney.....or was that £54m?So, let’s just call it £44 million and be done with it then.
Tintin was the worst cartoon in history
fck id pay that myself
All things being equal the simplest explanation in usually the right one. What’s an Occam razor ?
wow just as well you said that i was about to bust my piggy bank£3 or £4 million obviously
Not really make a difference if its closed since we dont know why its closed.Does anyone live close enough to check if the megastore is still closed today ?
We need to drop the desire for a heart attack for this guy.
A debilitating stroke would be much better.
wow just as well you said that i was about to bust my piggy bank
£3 or £4 million obviously
Don't think anyone is in that mindset mate, most posters know it's going to cost usanyone who thinks fat Mike and his lot are going to walk away without hefty payoff are deluded imo
I used to love Tin Tin as a wee boyTintin was the worst cartoon in history
Sevco is the passwordaka he's made it up
You can bury this pish about out of court settlements, it went all the way to Judgement, that is what you would settle out of court to avoid.
What do you think the decision is ? Heard anything ?
No, and I don’t believe anyone does. if it’s reserved for written Judgement then I don’t believe anyone will be aware of what will be in his decision. But I can’t see him forcing the two parties to continue to work together. I suspect we will be due to pay the contract breach cap of £1M plus the Costs and some other losses, but I also believe SD will be in breach for failing to release the funds due under the deal to end the 7 year notice contract. When one is off set against the other I think the whole thing may cost us £2-3M. But purely just my opinion based on sitting in on Civil Court cases preciously.
Very high interest rate of wonga proportions.£10m then £22m a couple of days later
The judgement was made at the last hearing. No, and I don’t believe anyone does. if it’s reserved for written Judgement then I don’t believe anyone will be aware of what will be in his decision. Both parties will almost certainly have been notified. It has just not been made public.
The judge stated his judgement had been made. It just hadn't been made public. No necessarily reserving for written Judgement means exactly that. We have been here before with an earlier court case with SDI we had to wait a month for it.

How much did the club make in retail since jabba got his grubby hands in,or did he block that information as well ?
So, let’s just call it £44 million and be done with it then.
