it a minor problem. Even turnbull has been quoted he still expects the deal to be honoured by celtic.

this is a pr ploy.

Get player to focus on why he chose celtic over norwich. Get player photographed at parkhead with celtic top. Get manager to release statement on what turnbull will bring to the team.

THEN

Break the news he has an injury problem?

They have forced Motherwell into a corner. They have turned the players head. The scan was done on Friday! They then release the above information, Knowing another scan was due on Monday!

Its a bargaining tool. Horrible club.

If Motherwell FC have balls, they would say %^*& off celtic. Hard on the lad but Celtic have forced this.
 
I hope he signs.

He better never get injured though or they will turn on him and the board.

With the way their preseason is going going if the scum lose say 2 of their first three games and we win the first three that abomination of a club will totally implode. Demonstrations turning into riots all over the east end ,hopefully they burn their own shithole to the ground
 
Wouldn’t put it past these cockroaches at saville fc to be doing this to spite the young guy. They are a rotten lot and either will drop interest or offer a low ball transfer fee. Scumbags.
 
Turnbull has a fair bit of bargaining power here so a strange game for Celtic to be playing. He’s not really a fan and seemed happy enough to try his luck down south. If this deal doesn’t happen then fairly sure a good few offers will head from down south. After losing McGinn last season they might not want a similar one here

If the guy has an underlying condition then he will fail his medical anywhere. Similar to Tierney and his hip when the time comes.

Turnbull has had insurances no doubt. Hence why he says he expects Celtic deal to go through as the issue is no big deal. This is Celtic knowing they have the players head set trying to renegotiate a deal that Motherwell would never have accepted beforehand.

I expect it will be on appearances... ie Taking the gamble out of the transfer for Celtic.

Motherwell will fold no doubt. If they had balls they would tell them to %^*& right off. But will know have an unhappy player on their books who had a celtic top on a few days before.

This is why you do not do photos until after you have signed.

After his 1st Scan.

Now wanting to negotiate the contract with Motherwell after the 3rd scan wish according to the player is not serious and expects the deal to go through.

Horrible club. Basically holding the aces after Turnbull had the cards and played them.

Motherwell's should have only accepted Norwichs bid. They know what Celtic are like. Release statements to drive up or drive down transfers. And the Mhedia do the rest.

In any other country they would be questioning Celtic Motives. Regarding releasing pictures before he signed.
