Saints want to offer Holt an escape route from Rangers
Holt is back at Ibrox following a spell with Joey Barton’s Fleetwood last term but won’t play for Steven Gerrard’s side.
The ex-Hearts man joined Rangers in 2016 and has another 12 months left to run on his deal.
Saints are desperate to add new faces to the squad before the transfer window closes next month. And Wright has targeted Holt as an experienced midfield man who can boost his side this season. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sp...=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1566407359

What happened to teams just buying/ signing a player ?
I did too, in the Championship. He would improve them. I thought he was a great wee player.
They should be able to pay a decent chunk of his wages. Sounds good to me.
Is there a cap of the amount of players we can loan to SPL teams overall or just individually?
Yep, if they could pay a decent chunk of his wages, I would be all for it.They should be able to pay a decent chunk of his wages. Sounds good to me.

still can't believe we took that prick onSo long as they pay his wages and leaves the boot in to ohallaran in training
He was great at that level but was never good enough to help us win trophies and I say that as a big fan.He had more better games than he had shockers. I thought he was always one of the better players anytime he was in the team
I like the way you thinkI'd be for giving him a bonus to do that.
Unfortunately I highly doubt anyone would buy him tbh even at that price. St Johnstone probably the upper limit of where he'd go to next and they don't pay for players. We should be trying to sell him, even for £100k. That's cash to develop a couple of youngsters.

At least he will get a game for themHe would improve them.
