McBurnie done for drink driving.

If you’re earning say £80k a month, you can afford to pay someone a full time wage to drive you around whenever you want never mind get a taxi anywhere and not have to worry about how much it costs.

I reckon he will be on far more than that as well, which is pretty shocking!

There are companies that offer private drivers that pull shifts for multiple celebrities. Doesn’t even need to be a full time employee.

Guy I worked with was best friends with Cat in Eastenders and used to call her “private car” all the time on nights out.

Well, he's going to need to pay someone on a slightly more permanent basis for the foreseeable rather than just the odd night out now.

Just don't understand the mentality of these people...

Total idiot. Like others have said, stacks of money and he would rather get in a car after a few than either pay someone to chauffeur him or get a taxi. Incredible, as per usual he will get a slap on the wrists and feck all else

Arsehole.

They could all club together and just get a few private hire guys on call 24/7.

Zero excuse.

His earnings have absolutely no bearing on this.

Mental to suggest otherwise.

the guys an idiot but everyone makes mistakes. For all we know it couldve been the next morning after a few beers.

Well after what happened with the derby players you'd think he would have had that in mind. If your going to for a drink, even with the idea of just having one, dont take the car.

So making his way to training then?

Still no excuse.

Idiot. I'm sure if he'd been in an accident and someone had been seriously injured or killed then we'd be getting a sob story about how much he regretted it. Hopefully he doesn't do it again.

Disgrace,If guilty hope all drink drivers get what they deserve in court.
And here I was thinking Mc Burnie only had a drink before he went on to a football pitch.

Soft spot for McBurnie as he is a bear but regardless of what team someone supports drink driving is a scummy thing to do and he should know better. The amount of lives that are needlessly lost or affected each year should be enough to put anyone off.

Rich or poor - you shouldnt drink and drive.
Your response has absolutely nothing to do with the retort he gave you. He explained to you why someone with such excess of cash could far easily afford (for example) an £80 taxi whereas a working man might not. Nobody needed you to say rich or poor u shouldn’t do it, everyone (literally everyone) realises you shouldn’t drink and drive regardless of finances

Calm doon pal

Agreed.

But if you are rich then getting a taxi to and from the boozer is less of an issue than it is for someone on minimum wage.
Everybody c

Oli didnt realise.

If you’re paid thousands a day and can’t be bothered to get a taxi, have a look at yourself.
