Parking £10
food and program £40-£50

To answer everyone travelling from just past Carlisle. There is £30 for there and back in fuel

Out the house for like 7/8 hours so dinner and light bite until home, family of 4 soon mounts up for money and I went to game and everywhere you get tickets now for parking on the street.

Public transport, no parking, save on fuel, no program and eat before game.

Plan for you, park down beside the grapes on the streets somewhere. -£10.
Go to one of the dirt cheap chippys on PRW, youll get a supper for what, say £3.50 roughly? Family of 4(i dont know your family so this is a guess due to the ammount you said for tickets) , thats say £14, so thats -£36.
Thats you saved nearly 50 quid per game already.
Im no martin lewis, but f*** me mate.

As others have said mate there are ways you can make it easier on the wallet as know it can be an expensive day out, especially with family.

The tickets are gonna be what they are but you should be able to make savings on the rest of.

I park on brand street just up from old louden, wee bit of a jaunt but good for a quick getaway and free.

Dont buy the food in or around stadium, eitehr get something to eat beforehand or if you have children go to shop beforehand and load up, Im sure your kids would rather get food/sweets from shop and still get to the game rather than miss out on going to the game and getting stuff inside stadium.

Programmes arent essential so give them a miss.

Fuel sounds a whack at £30.00, are you flying in haha? :))

it is tough mate, no question about it.

Obv depending how many people attend with you it can mount up.

Park on the street, may have to get there earlier like we do, but its free.
Chop the food and drinks from the stadium - champagne prices, prosecco product.
Ditch the program - its generally drivel that's in it now.
Fuel depends where you live I suppose.

Its do-able, if you try cut back as much as you can.

Just hard for a working class family now, I fully appreciate that.
Luckily my son is 4 and I have made a conscious decision that unless he shows a burning desire to attend, he wont be coming until he is around 10 or so.
Its a big ask for a kid his age to watch a game that even adults get frustrated and bored - not to mention the weather !

Parking-free
Programme-don't bother
Food-eat before you leave.
