Hibs are the deciding vote in all this

£200,000 more in their coffers if we avoid defeat to St Johnstone in our game in hand.

They will vote against their resolution.

Only doubt may be if they want to see Hearts relagted.

They won't vote to potentially keep Hearts up. They are almost the reverse of us in this situation.

Hibs will vote in favour of the SPFL resolution, the Evening News has learned.

The 42 clubs from the Ladbrokes Premiership down to League Two have been asked to submit their vote by 5pm today for the proposal of terminating the three leagues below the top-flight

Still confident if there is a dissenting league it will most likely be the Championship.

Partick definitely against, need 2 more. Would imagine Inverness wouldn’t be too chuffed, who knows about the numerous teams in playoff contention.

Bheasts will pay them the 200k no problem, call it a donation to help a fellow romanist club in times of need, in fact they can dish out a few 'donations' under this guise and not only get handed the title but also the saviours of football in the Scottish republic award

Hibs will vote yes just to please their fans and relegate Hearts. There is little chance with top flight clubs, they are all happy to take the cash and run. The championship clubs however will probably not roll over so easily. Ayr, Inverness and Dundee are the real deciding votes.

Partick are a definite, Dundee too I think? Just one more required, ICT or Ayr will vote against?

Falkirk against, albeit in League 1, but I’m sure Dundee are against it too.

Looks like Dundee will vote against seeing that they've said they will put their own resolution forward of no promotions or relegations.

Their fans might want to see hearts relegated.
But the board surely know that Hearts are worth another 6 figure sum to them in match day revenue.

This is the bit that I am confused with.
42 clubs, does that mean any 11 over all 4 leagues voting against veto it?
It’s 75% of the Premier, 75% of the Championship and 75% of Leagues 1 & 2.

If there is less than 75% in any of those three categories then it fails.

In theory it could end up 39/42 and fail if all three clubs voting against were from the Championship. It could pass with 32/42 (9+8+15).

4 teams from the one league needed surely

Ross County aren't going to vote against it, they wouldn't be in danger of being relegated and would get the cash, the top flight is a lost cause.
