Sky Sports report Scottish Championship club have rejected the resolution from the SPFL.

Hibs must be in the shitter financially. They've are voting to get some cash in the door quick. They'd be losing a derby game sell out twice per season. The war this starts should be fun to watch

They would also lose a bloody place in the league standings on an average points decision, which would also have a financial impact.

Tinpot.

Championship up in the air
Despite reports that Championship clubs have rejected the proposals, Record Sport understands that not all clubs have been informed of the result.
That could change, but as things stand there’s no clarity on what has been decided.

Gives us a chance to get things out in the open and have meaningful discussions with clubs in a calm manner without the time pressures which result in the bullying and coercion.

.............and to highlight the absolute disgrace that is the Scottish Celtic Professional Football League Board.

League reconstruction, no relegation, and every team in the top 2 spots being shunted into the tier above.

Can guarantee next week there will be a vote to increase top league to 14 which will see ICT and Hearts then both vote yes. Brora Rangers and Kelty Hearts promoted to bottom tier with 2 teams promoted in both League 1 and 2

They will amend and repropose. Probably with a consultation period to allow behind the scenes “discussions” to take place.

Ironically, our proposal will now be needed to ensure clubs survive. This was the whole point in the first place...
That's all we proposed plus give the teams their fucking entitled money to stay alive

A cert

Good news short term but I cant help but feel any joy will be short lived.

The clubs who have rejected it will get a sweetener thrown their way

I can't see the logic of all clubs, bar one, not accepting the Rangers Resolution (when re-constituted) whereby they get the money but have a long period of time to carefully consider options instead of all this railroading.

'It looks like the spfl resolution has fallen flat'
Nothing has been confirmed.
Caution guys.
At best it buys us time and a chance to blow a hole the spfl 'rangers are lying' statement.

Wtf does that mean...why would clubs need to be informed? To give Liewell time to get a courier round with brown envelopes

The delay will be the spfl on the phone to Dundee, Inverness and Partick threatening them again no doubt.

Hold!!!
“With the Ladbrokes Premiership and Ladbrokes Leagues 1 & 2 divisions each having approved the resolution, we await the voting slip from the one Ladbrokes Championship club that has yet to vote. We will provide an update as soon as we are in a position to do so.”

So Ross County voted for the spfl plan after all.
