The game Mo Johnston scored his first Ibrox goal v Aberdeen?

Would be - his forehead was splattered in a midweek international game around that time.
For all that he lets his mouth run away with him nowadays... Terry Butcher was the definition of an imposing centre back.

Couldn't tell you which game it was but the player is Tom Cowan.

Most likely that horrible 0-3 defeat in 1991 the weekend after they beat us in the Cup.
We had quite a few fringe players playing that day, as Hateley, Hurlock and Walters were all suspended and Ally got dropped for going to Cheltenham.

From memory, Davie Dodds, John Spencer, Scott Nisbet and Tom Cowan all started.

I was at the cup game. Thought we might get back into it after Grant got sent off but Waddell and some of our indiscipline meant it wasn't going to happen. Was a bad day.

Is there any photos of him scoring against Celtic in the book?
No, a couple v them .
One listed as a rare save from Sean Fallon at Ibrox, with Willie waiting for him to drop it.
The other has McNeill holding the ball behind his back. The only way he could get a touch!

I have said it before on this thread, but by jings, i am going to say it again.
This is the bestest thread ever on Follow Follow.
