Copa Libertadores 2020 - Final Live on IPlayer at 8pm Saturday

I'd be taking off Soldano and replacing with Ábila, Zarate or even Capaldi.

It'll come down to how good Santos finishing is. They're going to get opportunities as Boca try to push up.

A poor 45 from Boca but still in the game.

After watching a couple of games in this competition, it seems like most teams are completely devoid of any sort of defensive structure in South America.

Maybe I'm spoiled from watching us, but every time Santos came forward I was thinking "Midfielders too far forward, Right back is too far back, centre backs are split too far apart, Goalkeeper should come forward and press the line forward, left back isn't in line and too far forward, a midfielder isn't there for the recycling..."etc.

Boca race to 7 corners @ 4/6 on Bet365 is a bet. Santos will sit deep the longer the score stays the same

Boca will have to push up and Santos are brilliant on the counter attack.

Probably better going damage limitation tbh.

That is some good quality refereeing there.

He was in there fast, red card was up immediately to stop it from boiling over, moving the player away from Santos players and to the sidelines and explaining to him that VAR will look at it.

Diffused a potentially explosive situation.

Boca caught at the start of each half, surprised by Santos coming out. Russo seemed to expect them to be as cautious as he would have been in that situation.

Miserable way to go out.

I like Santos, their style is easy on the eye. Histrionics excepted.

Hard to believe the final is 8th v 6th in the Brazilian league.

I’d like to see Santos win it. Especially after all the shite their fans have been through in recent times.

I use to follow Santos closely back in the mid 2000’s when Robinho & Diego were coming through. Got a top of theirs from that time, so hope they win too

Enjoyed that. Been surprised how open the games over the last couple of rounds have been. Final hard to pick, Santos looked better but they’re behind Palmeiras in the league and it’s a one-off game .... looking forward to it anyhow.

It will be a major shock from what I've seen, if Santos don't skoosh the final against Palmeiras.

I notice from Wikipedia that games between the clubs are called "The Nostalgia Derby". I think Santos will be able to look back with satisfaction years from now, as they remember that night in the Maracana.

Also looked at Wikipedia and wonder why Santos ground capacity at home is so small , any reason behind that

From what I remember they play bigger games at larger grounds in the area although I may be wrong.

drgriffen may have more information as Brazilian football isn't my specialist subject.
