#55 – The Playlist Of Champions!

There’s got to be someone out there able to do a version of this for us haha.
I think replacing “he’s Virgil van Djik” with “James Tavernieerrr” could work :))

“He’s our right full back
He’s our number two”
...

Status Quo - Rockin all over the world
Always reminds me of league tittle celebrations at Ibrox.
Reminds me of when we won the title against Dunfermline in 2003 .
They played this along with other pop tunes alternating with cultural songs in the Red Lion on PRW after the game .
Good times

Is my memory playing trick on me, or did we used to play Can You Dig It? by The Mock Turtles after games in the run in during one of the title-winning seasons?

Think it may have been Walter's last season?

Don’t stop believing
Beautiful Sunday ( if we win it on a Sunday)
When I was young I had no sense I bought a flute for 50pence

Getting my Spotify playlist ready for when Tav raises that big cup above his head and the league flag is finally home. Obvious ones to start with but need some more.

I already have a playlist of our more cultural and football related songs so I’m thinking more mainstream music.

Tina Turner - Simply The Best
Queen - We Are The Champions
The Drifters - Come On Over To My Place
Roy Orbison -Penny Arcade
Stone Roses - This Is The One
Mental As Anything - Live It Up (duly edited)

What am I missing? Cheers.
Pilot. It’s magic.
