Anyone else getting sick of this narrative?

Heard Alan Stubbs saying the same today on SKY. Yes Lennon has been a disaster but let's not forget why they have crumbled.

We have been relentless in the league, unbeaten and been the best team all season regardless what they have been doing across the city.

Gerrard has won this league with the second biggest budget against a team that has been dominant for 9 years. We may even go the whole league campaign unbeaten which would be an unbelievable achievement for a team that wasn't even favourites to win the league.

That should be the narrative.
 
They have lost 4 games in the league. The title has been won with more defeats incurred in a season.

Draws in the league, their European results, their arrogance over Dubai and, of course, our incredible form has caused the Timplosion at The Chamber of Secrets.

They haven't handed us anything, we have ripped it from their grasp.
 
I’m sure Mr Edgar said on H&H the other day that this season they can still match or better the points totals they achieved when winning the league in recent years so highlights how well we have done
 
Your average mentally challenged buys in to pish like this from ex players, it has been their downfall, by taking winning for granted. Long may it continue.
 
Could not give a f*ck what their narrative is. We've been beaten once all season, conceded only 2 goals at home in the league, 9 overall. Some games McGregor / McLaughlin have literally been spectators.

The eyes don't lie - they've handed us nothing...we've bloody taken it.

The reason they are struggling is the relentless form of ours

Every league in every world you could point to 2nd place teams dropping off / not being good enough, that's how leagues are won, last season Man City dropped off, Liverpool won it, this season Liverpool massive drop off, man City will win it, this is what happens

Hamilton have thrown the league away this year by drawing or losing 23 games.

It was theirs to lose, If they had only won 22 of that 23 they would be champions.
 
The fact that we're still in Europe with one foot in the last 16 is a flaw in that logic but, like all delusions, it'll be ignored or explained away.
 
As somebody has stated in another thread. Our points total as it stands now would have been enough to win 3 leagues in the last 9 years. We have earned it.
 
us collapsing when on top last season + giving them it in Zoom = handed league title
us strolling to the title winning most games, barely losing a goal = us winning it
 
It's great! Anyone with a brain can see how relentless we've been domestically and in Europe.

It's not like the table says Rangers have drew and lost multiple games but have got away with it.

They are making an arse of themselves.
 
Every tim to a man said "Rangers can't win the league, we can only fling it away ", they were wrong and our stats prove it big time and I hope our final stats rub it in EVEN more.
 
Undefeated so far after 30 matches conceded 9 goals all season not lost a league game home or away.Aye cheers selic.

The long and short of it is.

The scum crumbled under the first real pressure they have endured in 10 years.

And may they "Get It Right F*cking Up Them!".

We've already been better than 3 of them.
 
They have crumbled because we have been relentless. The last few years we have been the ones dropping silly points while Celtic just kept winning. Nobody ever said we handed it to them .
Anyway it’s all part of their grieving process and it’s great as it shows they haven’t acknowledged just how good we have been this year. Our points total will likely be in the top 3 ever
 
There is a rock solid point to be made here.

Stubbs? Come back at the end of this season and tell me how many of the past 10 titles, we would have won with the points tally we end this season on!
 
They can talk all they want but even the neutrals such as the press down in England are giving us plaudits for how well we’ve done. You can’t have one without the other, so they can gurn all they like.

We outplayed them and they imploded under that pressure. Fact.
 
We are only 8 games away from potentially equaling the same points tally as Brendan Rodgers' 'invincibles' team. That team were literally drooled over by certain parts of the media from first game to last. It was relentless the entire season.

Even if we had been half decent that year, we would not have been close. So this idea if Celtic had been half decent they would be winning is just farcical. Its just a narrative to downplay our success
 
They've been like that my entire life. They're just to bitter to admit when someone is better than them.

They even pretend that Tommy Burns was a good manager.
 
Heard perma-offended Trevor Sinclair say the same earlier on on talksport. I wonder what their excuse will be next season?
 
I don't really care about the opinions of throbbers like blinky.

This season is going to eat them alive for at least the next few years, maybe even the better part of this decade.

We put them under sustained pressure for the first time in a decade, they crumbled and all of their fans are feeling the sort of impotent rage they haven't felt since Mo Johnston was sitting with Souness after signing a Rangers contract.

We've beaten them all ends up. Their best laid plans are in ruins, their dreams are in tatters, they're sitting around having an inquisition on "how this has happened" and the only thing they sang about for 8 years (instead of enjoying the good times) will be a goading taunt forever more.

And they have previously won the league with the same or less points than they have this season., they have lost the league because we are far superior but they won't let facts cloud there judgement. #55.
 
They're trying their best to devalue it, but seeing them hurting in this way makes us enjoy it all the more.

Do they honestly think we're sitting at home going "I thought this was brilliant, but the tims are squealing otherwise so it's all shite now".
