Anyone know when we should hear from the senile nutter?
City confirmed they’re out mate.Looking back, there has been absolutely nothing official from anyone, unless you take the UEFA welcome home message as the single occurrence.
That tweet was saying Spanish teams are staying with super league. Only way to continue is with non-European teams imoIm lost with this,is it looking like being back on again, thought chelsea was definately out?
City as far as I can see are the only ones who have officially pulled out.Looking back, there has been absolutely nothing official from anyone, unless you take the UEFA welcome home message as the single occurrence.
25 minutes apparentlyAnyone know when we should hear from the senile nutter?
25 minutes apparently
Sound. So, official from them, and the reply from UEFA. Nothing at all from anyone else. This is all still up in the air! Magic.City confirmed they’re out mate.

I also don't get why they launched it without any real details. They didn't have enough teams....and had clearly not even talked about staying in domestic football etc. Was such an early and shit launch. PR error, or arrogance ?
It’s a political statement mate, nothing more. UEFA need to try and present themselves as bastions of the noble support and above petty slights. At the same time, it sends the inference to the other clubs that they are not acting in the way they have congratulated Man City for doing.Pathetic
It was pointed out earlier that nobody involved had ever used the word European in relation to this. No idea if it is right enough.Does having non European teams not defeat the purpose of the European Super League ?
Who they gonna get ffs, Seattle Sounders or something
Cracking, cheers mate25 minutes apparently
Chelsea have never said they were out that I can find. It was tweeted by a few accounts, but nothing from the club.Did Chelsea just say they were out to get the protesters to go home?

Chelsea have basically said they'll prepare the legal documents tonight and submit them later or tomorrow morning.Only man city have actually left....mmmm
If you are open about planning to take the games around the world, why limit yourself to European teams? They will invite whoever they think can generate them the most cash.Fair point.
Still defeats the point of it of course if it ends up being with US clubs or something. Unless they want Boca and River plate or something

If they do that then it would become an even bigger joke than it already is.One. You have Billionaires that are use to doing whatever they want, when they want. (See English clubs)
Two. Teams in Italy and Spain who are in deep shit and are in desperation mode as their domestic rights values are dropping.
Half expecting him to turn round and say Man City have left %^*& all and that the contract they signed hands over their shares to him.
Chinese phoned, bottle of tonic bought
Is the NYSE on the night shift?Chelsea have basically said they'll prepare the legal documents tonight and submit them later or tomorrow morning.
I would say they are going to announce the documents have been sent at 11pm just so the news hits when the NYSE opens.
And why would inviting the best South American teams go against that?Their slogan on their website is “the best teams, the best players”
Here’s hoping.Half expecting him to turn round and say Man City have left %^*& all and that the contract they signed hands over their shares to him.
I wouldn't be surprised hahaThat would actually be funny if they pulled that off
And why would inviting the best South American teams go against that?
Oops, 11am tomorrow. Is the NYSE on the night shift?
Perez is like a cross between Silvio Berlusconi and Emperor Palpatine
(+Arsenal)Their slogan on their website is “the best teams, the best players”
I'm not so sure. I think the vague 5 teams by invite thing was a clear open door to a worldwide target.Because that’s only a waffly compromise they’d be forced into.
Clearly this was intended to be an elite European only club.
Apparently Neville and Carragher coming up on Monday Night Football.

I've been off work and glued to this for the past few days. It could be Tuesday or New Year's Day.So we have to wait 6 days then, great
chelsea have not left, they just said it so they could get the fans away
It was the media who called it the European Super LeagueDoes having non European teams not defeat the purpose of the European Super League ?
Who they gonna get ffs, Seattle Sounders or something
UEFA are a bunch of Welsh words for one hundred.
I'm not so sure I think the promise of 200-250 mill upfront as founders basically is desperation especially since some of the finances of those 12 are in a pretty bad wayTo me it's starting to look like a co-erced move to get more money in the end up.
I wonder if they were ever 100% serious.
You'll never know though. Snakes snaking other snakes.
The truth probably will never be knknown
