El Duffalo sent back to Brighton early

A strange one. Was solid enough defender at Brighton and ahead of Goldson and Balogun in the pecking order there. I wasn’t looking forward to him coming to Celtic as thought he’d be decent stopper for them but he’s been absolute keech. And when he’s not just being awful, he’s been unlucky too. It’s been absolutely brilliant. And expensive too.
Reckon Potter will turn the lights out at the Amex when Big Shane gets back and pretend they’ve moved?
There were rumours at Brighton that he was at the heart of a boozing culture which may be catching up with him? Certainly has looked like he’s playing pissed at times.

A £2m loan fee and wages in the region of £40-45k per week. Anywhere up from £3.5m he has cost them.

Excellent business once again from a club that is (mistakenly) portrayed as well run financially.

Considering their transfer dealing were around £20m last season and the necessity they have for umpteen new signings, for which any selling club is likely to add a desperation charge too, their books will make for very interesting reading the next year or two.

Anyway back on topic, thanks for the memories Shane, you racist, homophobic terrorist sympathiser.

Rangers fans worldwide hold big Shane in the highest regard, he'll be hero worshipped in Rangers boozers the length and breadth of the land, Rangers fans will tell of him for years to come in hushed tones, and then they signed Duffy, his name will be forever associated with 55, people will tell stories of "Big Shane" to their children and grandchildren, made more memories in Glasgow than he'll ever be able to forget, in short thanks Shane, we'll never forget you.
