An SNP MSP has publicly welcomed the pro Palastine gathering in the square. She said it was 'fantastic'. It makes a mockery of Humzas statement.

If pro Palastine and Scottish separatists can gather with no condemnation, then we are entitled to gather just the same as them.

The SNP have no right to pick and choose who gets to congregate.

If ever there was a message that would encourage, rather than discourage fans to gather, then this is it.

As another poster rightly pointed out, there’s radio silence for absolutely EVERY other gathering in this city, including pro-Indy marches and the like, and that seems to be ok with this administration.

I don’t think there’s a force on Gods green earth that’s gonna stop Rangers fans from gathering at Ibrox or George Square on Saturday, and if they find a force, they’d better bring a hell of a lot of folk to counter the fans.

Humza Useless and his message is the absolute wrong way to tell people not to gather, especially when he is hated to such a degree that he’s basically an invisible idiot to most, if not all, of us fans.

Aye ok Hamza that’s what we’ll do as it keeps people safe from this killer disease, or is about exerting control over those big bad union flag waving Rangers fans? Just one final question about the independence rally / march scheduled for the following weekend 22nd May…… does this direction and guidance apply to them as well, maybe I’ve just missed it and it will be in the mainstream media tomorrow asking for some friends???
 
There was a Palestine gathering in George Square on Saturday which I have no problem with. what I do have a problem with is if you believe what's been rumoured that there may be various groups at George Square to try and disrupt Rangers fans gathering. Local businesses being urged to close early. the justice minister tweeting urging people not to go. We are a Scottish club celebrating winning a Scottish title on Scottish soil. They really do hate us.

No one turns up, we'll just be accused of gathering in houses and having parties and spreading covid

The police aren't going to turn up and attack thousands of people. They will be literally unable to control how many people are going to turn up.
