Euro 2020 Hungary v France - BBC 14:00

I'm adding it to the Big Bumper List of Utter Pish Statements about Football Made on FF. Right up there with:

"Xavi doesn't belong anywhere near an all-time Champions League XI"
"Iniesta wasn't known for his dribbling"
"Gazza is in the top 5 players of all time"
"Gazza was better than Michael Laudrup"
"Michael Laudrup wasn't a genius"
"Richard Gough was better than Sergio Ramos"
:))

Benzema must be one of the worst strikers around.

Honestly these players who are now considered as "stars" wouldnt even play in the top leauges during the 90s. Benzema would be somewhere at RC Lens and not at Real Madrid if modern football wouldnt be so shite.

He's better than Raul ever was.

Aye, he's shite. As his haul of winners medals confirms. Ffs.

Did Jonathon Pearce really just call Hungary "Journeyman pros" ?

Fúcking hell

The level of disdain and ignorance by the pundits and commentators towards literally anyone who doesn’t play or hasn’t played in the premier league or for Barca/Real/PSG/Bayern/Juve has been nothing short of a joke this year

How is that not a penalty. Another example of the player staying up and being honest not getting it. The attacking player falling to the floor gets a penalty
