Tims get 18,500 fans in for friendly vs West Ham on Saturday.

For those who are happy in attacking the club on this one.

They’re up against a government who had multiple MSP’s who were falling over themselves to tweet/publicly condemn a fake Tiktok video from Willywanker to make us look bad.

At the same time there was widespread silence from them when Griffiths was soliciting a child for nude photos.

I also saw a tweet last night (unsure how true) that a ‘safety’ committee was at the piggery last night being given the VIP treatment, signed shirts etc.

to say that they would have started on the back foot in regards to a negotiating position would be putting it mildly.

Not because I say fact because I know we're at the forefront of these negotiations.

We've been in negotiations for weeks now with the relevant authorities and there's been some bang on posts among the madness for crowd attendances.
Yet we are still playing catch-up with declan?

Looks to be the scum at the top of the tree lending a helping hand to bring in some extra much needed cash to go towards the compensation bill!

All Rangers need to do then is highlight that and publicly request why there is a difference in numbers and ask what criteria was used.

It’s likely been mentioned but you can now pick pretty much any stand for both games at the weekend when yesterday it was extremely limited.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we hear something tomorrow about more fans being allowed in for both games but to be fair at the same time I wouldn’t be if we didn’t!

If we don't get more fans in at the weekend Rangers should issue a statement explaining why, especially if the reason is flimsy - we need some clarity on the discrepancy as it's depriving us of much needed revenue.

It really is just such a shame our board is one of the weakest entities in world sports.
Really easy to blame the board. What about us as fans? When do we say enough is enough? Do we not have a responsibility for doing something about this or is it always for someone else to do something?

Do you think if the boot was in the other foot they would sit back and watch?

I think we've seen how empty our voice will be even when we do shout loud. The board have had numerous opportunities to absolutely smash the SFA ad SPFL to bits and leave their crying for mercy and they just do nothing other than make the occasional statement and keep a dignified silence - which to do date I don't think has ever worked for us.

The board should be all over the Scottish Government, SFA, SPFL and GCC with threats of legal action if they do not start playing fair.

Threats of legal action? On exactly what grounds? Or are you advocating making empty threats as a way of appeasing our less cerebral fans?

One reason our board has less power is our inability as fans to pressure any situation. We are the ones being shafted here. Time we said no more enough is enough. Can’t see it happening though.

The board can only act when they have some support. They have tried quite hard. They need some support.

What about deliberately hindering a business whilst making more effort to ensure another is more successful? How about using rules to treat groups differently.

I don't know.

Perhaps legal action is the wrong thing but the board should be shouting loud about how it's not really acceptable. Not sitting their making no noise at all.

Do we know how many we asked for on Saturday? Or were we just told 8.5k?

We need to push this issue as the difference is shocking and has no justification at all.

Lot of people jumping to conclusions when they don’t actually know what happened. Plus I don’t think people understand the kind of hatred we are up against in this country. We are up against councils and governments and will openly fight us at every turn.

Hard to blame the board for this.

This is on the shoulders of every "Rangers fan" who voted snp.

This! 100%! We are hamstrung from the get do. If you vote for this mob, %^*& YOU! You are not a bear, you do not represent us. You are a fucking cuck

Where do you start with this crap
Instead of just ridiculing people’s views can you please explain why we have lower crowd numbers?
We are told they are at the forefront of negotiations in regards this.Yet that mob have greater numbers for a friendly 2hrs after our game.
You and I both know exactly what’s coming.A weak mealy mouthed response of how disappointed we are. These rhats shit all over us and the club do nothing.
When have they actually stood up to any of them?
By the way a strongly worded letter is not standing up to them.

Remember the poster in question once admitted he didnt have a problem with David Murray as he helped him get games on at his pub or something. I'm assuming SR has helped him in the past so he cannot accept the criticism of SR from the majority of the fans.

I've always found that people employed at Ibrox or who make money from fans have a completely different viewpoint than 'normal' fans.

I never mentioned the figures, it was his comment about probably the beat Board we have had in our History. And his comment deserves ridicule

"They need support"? We need leadership!

His comments don’t deserve ridicule.Just like your unwavering support for the board doesn’t deserve ridicule. Are we actually allowed to criticise them at all?
They have failed here and to say they haven’t is frankly pathetic. We are told we are front row centre in negotiations with council regarding this but yet again we are shat on.Have the board actually made any comment yet?Or is it a case of another strongly worded letter and rage in private? How about us fans who put money in as well getting an explanation.

I'm in the unfortunate position where I don't know what is happening behind the scenes but posters like you are keeping me up to date with it all
Why are they wanting to criticise the Board when it is GCC or the Advisory Board
that set the numbers?
Have you sent an email to ask the Council how they came to this figure or do you just want to have a go at our Board

Taking Ashley on over retail contracts when he’s been living and breathing that industry for his entire life is different to taking on Susan Aitken.
The problem with Sports Direct was that it became personal, and Billionaires? millionaires do not want to lose face

Dominic McKay always kept the government onside when he was working for the SRU, he felt like he lived up their arse half the time TBH.

I would expect they would attempt to justify this and explain away such issues as stress on travel links and concourse size of each stadium which is a load of fucking shite.

Having had the ehmm misfortunate of attending their stadium in more areas than just the typical away end (Pro 14 Final), the "home end" is also a gerish looking shit hole, but pretty narrow and poorly laid out considering the number of people who attend at the best of times let alone during pishy "distancing" days, as any who has sat in the typical away end will know.

I'm sure you've seen it but GCC have offered an explanation. I think it flawed but not in the way most on here are, ranting about 8500 v 18,500 this Saturday.

After the return to Level 0 on 19 July it appears each stadium has been given a 'safe' attendance limit for the period up until the hoped for removal of restrictions on 9 August. Ibrox 'safe' limit was seemingly set at 17,000 and the DhimDome at 24,500. More on that later.

Once the limit was set each stadia had to build up, with 50% of the 'safe' limit allowed for the first Level 0 game, rising to 75% and then 100% in the games thereafter.

The Dhims first Level 0 game was last Tuesday, so 50% should have seen them get circa 12,000 in. Followed by 75% against West Ham (18,375) and then 24,500 at the game thereafter.

Our first Level 0 game is against Brighton. 50% of our 'safe' limit of 17,000 is 8500. Our next game (Real Madrid) should get 75%, or 12,750, followed by 17,000 at the game thereafter (Livi).

It could be argued that the Dhims should have been allowed more for the game against the Danes if the criteria above is true.

However, where our own argument should lie is not over the respective attendances this Saturday - they follow the pattern set out above - but on why the Ibrox 'safe' capacity is set at one third of normal capacity but the 'safe' capacity at the DhimDome is set at over 40% of their normal capacity.

You say corruption. I say, religious and sectarian bigotry.
It obviously has a fundamental element of sectarian hatred, this, however, is now shielded behind a political movement that has control of your lives.
The face making the decision may well have a contorted grimace of religious hatred but it is hidden behind the mask of a political party that is in power.

The problem is much like BLM they have used a political meme that is clean and noble in its superficial aspect and thus many well-intentioned people including Protestant Rangers supporters fail to see the monster that lurks beneath the surface.

Ours is only a smaller example of how evil people can gain control of the political machinery in a western democracy and then ... well, ... do evil.

Our slo is on this forum Greg Marshall I think, if so please tell us that the club are getting these feckers sorted once and for all enough is fucking enough

Afraid you have me mixed up with someone in the know.I’m just a seaon ticket holder who wants the best for the club.It seems from a simple supporters view point that whoever wants to shit on the club has a free hit.It shouldn’t need any supporter to email any council regarding this. The club should be all over this.If they are why is there no explanation? Why have they not let us know?I mean we are only the people who pay at the turnstiles.I want my info from the club not some pish statement from a Rangers hating councillor.Incidentally have you emailed them to find out why they are allowed more in?

I know this isn't his decision but the fact we actually invited Reichsminister Humza to Ibrox is becoming more and more unbelievable by the day. No wonder they take the piss out of us.

Agree and think that’s part of the problem Robert as they could never settle and ashley tried to jail King which was as personal as it gets! but during the cases also read a piece by lawyers/ commercial managers specialising in the types of deals he set up re matching price contracts in retail, and basic advice said keep clear or enter such deals at your peril. Of course we had a compliant Board at that time which gave him the deals and you wonder why. Reading the transcripts of some of the cases their lawyer was sh1thot on the subject ours not same level.

What else did we expect with big fat Susan aitken and GCC?
Heard her this morning saying she hopes there are climate change protests at the COP26 summit in November
She said “Glasgow has long been a city of protest”
Just give the mob rulers a free pass to riot now and cause carnage.

Ok Susan. What will you say if 10k rangers fans protest at George square asking for more tickets and calling out this blatant anti rangers policy?

Where do you start with this crap
By chatting and comparing arguments instead of just shooting it down with a statement like so...

The statement itself is a bit harsh but not entirely untrue either. We do need a much noisier board. Someone that makes the authorities in Scotland think twice about doing us over.
