Reading this it suggests the whisky was bottled before Rangers changed the date the club was established from 1873 to 1872

what's the history on the bottle?

ticket bought btw
Looking into it it appears they were made by a ceramics company called Wade based in Stoke on Trent, who also make the current Bells Whisky decanters produced for Royal Anniversaries, Christmas etc...Cant recall why they were produced, how many were or even the year, but I guess being the PREMIER football club in Scotland, despite what certain others may think, it was just seen as a great idea between Rangers, Wade and the Whisky industry.

I bought two at the time and can't even remember how much they were...Very happy one of them is going to benefit such a fantastic cause.

Roughly when was it bottled?

I remember my grandad had these Famous Grouse decanters that were actually ornaments of Grouse with the whisky inside.

Sure Bells did a bell version as well?
