They are lucky to be getting someone of his standard at this particular time for where the club is. It's a great football club but it's been in decline, and hopefully he can go in there and turn it around.
"If he can challenge Celtic and let them know they're at their coat tails and they're trying to be back at the top again, it would be a fantastic job for him”

Decline as a word isn't really accurate.
The truth is the club was dealt vicious blows by individuals running it and then battered by the Scottish football authorities into an inch of its existence.
Since the nadir of those blows, it has been a gradual fight back to the position of esteem the club once enjoyed.
During this rise from those depths, the club has managed to break all sorts of records in regard to spectator attendance both at home and away from home.
The club has indeed continued to be a huge attraction, the biggest attraction in Scotland, and whilst success on the field has been muted, the voraciousness for Rangers Football Club as a social attraction and a source of entertainment has never declined one single jot.

I think Stevie G will have an absolute plethora of knowledge to tap into with all the positive comments coming from people like Harry R, Klopp etc

You have to remember Harry is looking in from a distance and it will look like a decline

I have never heard him speak in other than glowing terms about Rangers. He is a bear

In what way shape or form can the verb “decline” be used when discussing Rangers? We have been on an upward trajectory since being fked over and booted to the bottom leagues. What a load of pish. The club are taking just as much of a punt on an unproven under 18’s manager, so gies peace.

This should be posted on the dressing room wall with the headline ‘One of our fans out there in stands wrote this about us and now it’s your turn to honour this club”

The whole of Scottish football has been on a decline for years, we're part of that. Look at how shite Scottish clubs have done in Europe, ourselves included, and the international team. Our individual situation may be looking up after years of inflicted persecution but we're nowhere near where we were before that period and have just come off a dreadful season. I think decline is an apt word. The only way is up.

Always had alot of time for Arry - clearly dodgy as f*ck but a likeable chap. The Graham Hunter podcast with him is a brilliant laugh. His dug's minted.

Fuxake Dave you been on the wagon!!:p

" in decline "

is that euphemism for being fiscally raped, then getting kneecapped for the privilege, then getting fiscally raped again.
To be fair to him we did go into decline, I'm sure he knows the reasons why. I've never heard him or his son bad mouth us.

Harry is old school, when he grew up he was good at football, crap at lessons ( and therefore sounds thick as f***) so, if he hadn't made it, he would have ended as a factory worker. But he will always speak if you see him in the street ( or usually the bookies at Westbourne), just don't put your house on his horse tips.
Dodgy or clever? He ( allegedly) managed to get a development fee on Rio Ferdinand which, not only got him money when he moved to Leeds, but also when he went to Man U.
