‘ON THE WING’

Davie Cooper was the man,
In a Rangers strip he grew,
We won’t forget his magic -
The brilliant ‘Moody Blue’!

DC signed from Clydebank,
And a legend he became,
He was just a boy from Hamilton,
But a genius of the game!

Davie played for the team he loved,
Where he drifted on the wing,
His skill was mesmerising;
And his name The Bears would sing!

The Rangers fans adored him,
With his left peg big Jock knew,
That he loved to torture Celtic,
And his book was named ‘True Blue’!

Davie left us far too young,
But his star shall never fade,
He was the Prince of Ibrox Park,
Where his greatest games were played!

That’s good mate , enjoyed that.

Very good indeed, and Super Cooper did love to torture the mhanky mob.
It’s something that could have been written by the ‘Glasgow Cabbie’ himself (aka Stef).
