An ex member of staff I had, tim, reckoned hes an above average Scottish player who feeds off the confidence of playing in a winning team and more importantly HIS team. He can shine in the SPFL where they are nearly always on top of games. Found out instantly as soon as he plays in Europe, little positional understanding and the heart of a mouse. Would struggle in a bottom half epl side because he’d be asked to defend and no where near good enough for a top half team. Wants to stay at them for life but apparently his new long term contract is designed to try and maximise his transfer fee. Big wages supposed to equal big fee?!

Messi and Dembele was much worse.
He isn’t any better a prospect than Alan Hutton was when he left for Spuds all those years ago.
He is miles behind Robertson IMO.
No doubt about it he is a good Scottish talent but that’s all he is and arguably going back the way at Celtic now or certainly not improving.

Hutton was the best player on the park against top Champions League and international sides.
He was part of a defence that kept a clean sheet against a practically peak Messi/Barcelona.
Tierney looked like an average player at best in a game against Israel.
