Why the media blackout on the boy and fellow celtic fan, that appeared in court charged with attempted murder on the boy in town? Where’s the walk back from people claiming it was a bear?

Same thing happened with the Reamonn Gormley murder.
The media were all over it like a nasty rash when it was branded a sectarian killing.
Locals in Celtic strips marched through the streets of Blantyre demanding action. Nil By Mouth were foaming at the gash.
When it turned out it was a low-life Celtic fan that had murdered one of his own the main stream media didn't want to know.
It absolutely was/is.Gangland warfare and the media feckin know it but continue with the old firm lie.

One of the rare occasions that Rangers and Celtic need to box smart and come out together and outline that this was clearly fu(k all to do with ‘Old Firm’ allegiances.
Why would Celtic do that when misinformation means Rangers fans get the blame and keeps the perception of us being the bad guys?

Albeit it was a shitey wee team from the German low leagues but there was banners made about us the lot over that stabbingCeltic will be quite happy with the current narrative.
Who the fk even steals a phone in this day n age, aren’t they even locked completelyThat was really sinister, days/weeks on end claiming he was killed for watching Celtic, when in fact he was mugged by a couple of scumbags for his phone, who happened to be Celtic fans.

Did anyone screenshot the records report on that at the time or a link?Daily Record should be hounded for their shite report on Rangers fans running in and stabbing people in the back. That’s the thing that pissed me of most
That's correct and it's a classic propaganda technique. Make an accusation, raise a headline, plant the idea in the public mind. If you have to row back on it later, no problem, either change or kill the story or issue a small apology at worst. Meanwhile lots of people will have read and believed that headline.Aye definitely. The damage has been done though and those who seek to demonise us have succeeded
