“The banter years”

It is a phrase used by rangers fans. Never heard any other set of fans use it.

During the time we were in the lower leagues we were all pretty depressed by the whole thing. The only thing that got a lot of people through it was to try and see the fun side of it. Some people probably sat in a dark room sobbing for 5 years and some people didn't come near and have come back.

I don't see the point in being angry about it, whatever helps people cope with it. Not worth fuming over.

As I say I’ll now use banter years every chance I get , and I’ll get all my family and friends to do the same .
