I have never forgotten the potent words spoken by Mr Gerrard after that inspirational night in Russia.
Following yesterday’s superb win, I felt them echo in my mind. Our manager has built a team who have bought into this ethos. He has built a team in his image, a team who are prepared to give their ‘body’ and ‘soul’ for our magnificent club. They understand what it means to be a ‘Ranger’ now, and yesterday’s dominant victory helps prove it.
I for one, am proud of our players. They have given us hope where there was none before. We have a winner at the helm and a team on the ascendancy.
The future is an optimistic blue fellow Bears and I hope you all enjoyed this sweet victory.
