2-0 down in Europe + 1-0 down in League

On both occasions we have acted positively with our substitutions which have then changed the game.

2-0 down in Europe it was all over & we went with the "we may as well go down fighting".

1-0 down in League & again we make positive substitutions

So, a couple of questions:-
1. Why on getting back to 2-1 today did we decide to be negative & try to see the game out?
2. Why didn't we start on the front foot today with that formation and at least see out this league in a positive manner?

Europe was over at 2-0 & we showed fight & determination to give ourselves a chance.
The league prior to today was all but over but we were still negative from the outset & then on getting back into the game after positive changes we revert to being negative
FFS we tried to rely on a defence with Katic having possibly the worst performance I've saw from a Rangers player in years. I mean at least give our other centre half a chance when a player is having a nightmare like that but to go defensive when we were defending so poorly makes no sense at all

We will never know if we could have seen the game out as a simple long ball up the park bamboozled our centre half for a second time in the game and we lost a goal as soon as they set foot on the park

2-1 up with 10 minutes to go, surely it's common sense that bringing a guy who keeps possession well (Davis) on for Hagi (who hadn't kicked a ball all day) is a good decision?

The change of shape had nothing to do with our defenders being unable to defend simple long balls.

We’re far too negative once we go ahead in league games. Against Killie, Hearts and today we’ve got a one goal lead and sat on it - trying to hit the opposition on the counter.

We need to be going for the jugular in these games and getting a second/ third goal and killing the game off.
Gerrard shows far too much respect to some of the utter rubbish in our league.
