Bigger draws tomorrow in both European competitions. No idea why they didn’t do them both on same day.

Looks like the initial draw will be regionalised to prevent any COVID related travel issues.

Is this likely to still be in place when we enter? If so would probably slightly work in our favour when trying to make the groups again as we’d probably be playing someone from U.K./Ireland/Scandinavia rather than getting a shite draw somewhere like Russia or Turkey or teams from top leagues.

They were always gonna get through the first 2 rounds with the level of teams. Likely the 3rd round won’t be terrible either. It will come down to the playoff and who they get /how they play .

Another home draw for the poets. Typical.

Games being BCD I am not sure there is a huge advantage in the home draw. Less hassle not travelling but that is about it.

The Champions path Group 1 (their group) had by far the most difficult set of unseeded teams compared to the other groups in that path and they will have to work to get past QR2. They will be favourites but it is a long way from a given (although I was hoping they'd get Cluj again).

Until we get Tottenham

That’s true. Although hopefully we would be seeded if they are to regionalise it so we’d avoid and PL teams

Not likely to be seeded in the playoff round.

Looking at it if they do group teams by region then we're going to get a tough team like Spurs, PSV, Basel, Copenhagen if they make it to that round. Best hope is Malmo.

What is the setup with the home ties then?

Is it the seeded team at home all the time?

Why was the Celtic game possibly going to be at a neutral venue?

Seeded teams aren't at home just the way they have come out in the draw

Some games may have to be at a neutral for Covid country restrictions

did we not knock out a seeded team last year and take there position in the draw making it easier ? Hopefully something similar can happen in the third round so when going into the play off we’re higher up does anyone know if this is possible

Tell that to Hamilton and then Killie :)

We should be seeded until the last round so not possible for us to get a seeded place in last round unless there are loads of teams ranked above us knocked out.
