21s vs wrexham, Ibrox, Saturday

4 police tried to lift 1 guy out the front row, boy that tore the Wrexham flag up and big boy wasn't having it! The police then charged the full stairwell and everyone was getting it, kids women old guys the lot!
If the cops were setting about women, children and pensioners then the club need to speak out about it and challenge it publicly.

Your fans are pricks

have a look on red passion the Wrexham forum. Most are angry and embarrassed at what happened today. I’m not sure myself where the link comes from with the mentally challengeds but there’s Wrexham fans on there calling them “anti-British scum” etc. There were also a few that stood up to the goon brigade. Seems to me most Wrexham fans are completely against what the mhanky mhob stand for. I wouldn’t go tarring them all with the same brush.

Obviously mixed when it comes to their love in with the scum but allowing around 100 wee fannies escort them to the game singing and shouting their bile instead of telling the wee dicks to get to f*ck tells you all you need to know.
F*ck they were apparently on during the week arranging to meet up with the gangrene brigade calling each other comrades. F*cking wallopers

Wrexham's firm are tight with the CSC (no laughing at the back). They even let the CSC visit them when Airdrie played Celtic in the Scottish Cup last year ;). Clearly the CSC shat themselves. Their level is pretty much a Colts game. Not all Wrexham fans are like that though, so I'm not judging all of them based on what happened today.

Not all.
Chatted to a few in the Louden and they were middle aged men absolutely delighted to be seeing their team play at such an iconic stadium.
There was a few in the Louden and they seemed ok.
Just in through the door on a 600 mile round trip this time around........ I was in the Louden before the game and I got on alright with the guys I spoke to.
The young Bears did the support proud;'an excellent display, that left a fifth tier side from the English pyramid chasing shadows.
After Solihull they weren`t given the credit that result deserved;they were told Wrexham would be tougher, and this is where it will end, etc.
These young men today were a credit to our club, and deserve the plaudits tonight.
Superb stuff, and I`m once again a happy Bear tonight. WATP

Ultras are busting my thrupennies. Grow up and be a firm if that’s your thing but this we’re with them and they’re with us p1sh is garbage. Especially when it’s we boys with nae toys. Total cr4p.

Got to agree they have a couple of Zoomers but in general just normal punters supporting their team who are disgusted that their supporters were lumped in with terrorist supporting troublemakers.

The real troublemakers were police Scotland for allowing scum to get into that game knowing full well that a large amount of people were not Wrexham fans, and were in fact the rsoles of the groin brigade or similar and they knew it, how many times have police Scotland been caught with their pants down and of being culpable?
Instead of ring fencing them they allowed their putrid hate filled terrorist supporting mini criminals to infiltrate and threaten the genuine Wrexham supporters who complained about what they were singing and doing, the ba$tards should be ashamed of themselves.

Just got there in time to see Barjonas score and then watch him totally control the tempo of the game.

It's clear to see why he's moved ahead of Doc in the midfield pecking order now, with the terrific range of passing he's got.

Special mention to Lewis Mayo playing holding midfield too.

He's a central defender, yet never gave possession away all day and protected the back 4 brilliantly.

He's developed physically and is built like the side of a house and is now a couple of inches taller than Edmundson too.

Massive future ahead for the Colts skipper.

They were sound as %^*& mate ah bought one of them a vodka same wank was giving it the big I am in the ground :(
That's a pity mate,I can only go by the ones I saw but clearly by the behaviour of a fare few of them in the ground they had a number of a#$€holes with them.

We need to be getting these guys out on loan to a hearts/motherwell for 1-2 seasons to help them develop into better players prior to coming into our team. Look at Mcrorie for example, he was going to be our captain for years to come, now im not even sure he’ll be at us next season..

I'm pretty sure our coaching team will know when the right time to put them out on loan is mate.

If you look at Josh McPake, he's struggling badly at Dundee this season.

It's a massive step up from youth football.

Kelly, Houston and Palmer are doing well in the Championship, but most of yesterday's team are a couple of years younger than them.

Mayo, Barjonas and Edmundson are clearly more physically developed than the rest of yesterday's team.

The rest are still kids, some only 16 and 17.

If Barjonas is ahead of Docherty then maybe we will be looking to sell Docherty?

Maybe even put him out on loan in January for rest of season and hope he does well, if he does the price can rise, then sell in the summer.

Agree, Mcpake is only 17 right? Unless you are exceptionally good at that age you will struggle against actual men. Personally id like to see a few of our boys in actual SPFL teams to help them get useto the league etc and playing in that environment. Would like to see Mayo, Barjo, Kelly out next season on loan with a view to getting them into the team in 1/2 years time.

Maybe things would have worked better it Wrexham fans had been allocated Broomloan Front 2/3.
With our fans being in Govan Front, there would have been a much larger area between.
Maybe the timmy infiltrators would have stayed away.
They were given the chance to be right up against our supporters.
Somebody, be it the club or Police Scotland got the logistics well wrong.
It was ridiculous in Govan Front 3, with folks having to run the guantlet near the end to get away from mental tim scumbags.
It was a Colts game after all.
Our young team played really well, moved the ball quickly and worked as a team.Standouts for me were Mayo,Barjonas and Kennedy, but they all played their part.

Give wrexham fans a break!!

They are disgusted with that lot tagging on to

A was there yesterday and they certainly weren’t disgusted when the tims where singing the songs. If they where tht disgusted why no do something at the game even boo?? They done hee haw so f**k them

fair enough, Im only looking at 21 pages of fans forum who are disgusted. As I say they probably never even knew what that lot where doing in full. Worst day n clubs history etc.

The question is remove the green brigade and would that reaction have happened?

Also I was not there so only going by online reaction from Wrexham fans

Im an old sod but those Union Bears are the business, they were absolutely outstanding for the whole 90 minutes. Well done lads.
I was in GF7 and would like to add that their importance to the team cannot be underestimated;or that of all of us for that matter.
There was a point early second half where a Bear in the UB section near the back took ill;and seemed for a few minutes to be in a bad way.
(He was later taken out by the paramedics, and sitting upright in a wheelchair;hope all is ok with him).
The UB gave reverence to the situation, and remained silent until the guy had had treatment......this period directly coincided with Wrexham gaining control of the game for a short time.
Graeme Murty also made reference to this part of the match in his interview afterwards.
(Sidenote, the otherwise quite even handed Wrexham commentator pointed out here that they`d created `chance after chance` during this period, without showing any)!
The moment the noise started up again, the team regained belief; and within minutes had added the second, and killer goal.
Excellent support was crucial for the young Bears yesterday;hopefully the numbers will be bettered for the semi final;surely it will be scheduled so as not to clash with the Livingston home game on February 15?
And heads up Bears,I know a lot of us make plans outwith Rangers on international break weekends......the final is scheduled for the break weekend of March 28/29.....leave that weekend free!
Tens of thousands descending on Hampden to see this team in a final would be incredible;let`s give them all the support we can to reach that goal.
WATP

Wondering with such a low attendance why we were held back for a good 20-30 minutes before being allowed back to our coaches. Is this normal practice for a youth game attended by families?

Perhaps it was something to do with pro-IRA chants and songs about the Ibrox Disaster coming your end?

Is it normal practice for your 'mob' to turn up to these games and hook up with like minded scumbags like the Green Brigade?

Watched the highlights on RTV, below. Barjonas played some nice touches scored one and 'made' one. He looks quite solid, as does Mayo, though you dont see much of him in the highlights.

Who was the number 2 that went off? He covered well for the centre halfs at the start of the highlights.

Akatayi (sp) seems to have filled out a bit as well.

Nathan Patterson,number 2.

Really good win today, unreal that we've got this far. An absolute testament to the direction our club in general is going in. Happy days, let's win it now.
