Although necessary, statements from the club are simply not going to cut it when it comes to eradicating these songs and behaviours.
There has to be a joined up approach to tackling this - from Dave King downwards.
Let's get the supporters clubs, the Union Bears and other club representatives together with the board and thrash out an approach that will see such songs ousted once and for all - if it's fans self-policing then so be it IMO - there is absolutely no margin for error anymore and no inch will be given, even for the minority groups who appear to persist with this moronic behaviour.
Make no mistake, the knives are out, and if we are going to lay ourselves on a plate for our enemies to wield the axe then we might aswell call it a day now.
Proper action is now required, and soon.
