Went for Aribo for MOTM I thought he tortured them at times. Good to see Kent and Balogun playing well also.

Decent first half performance, huffed and puffed a bit second half but well in control and rarely under any pressure. Second goal would have been nice but as easy a win as we’ve had there for a while.
Great debut by Balogun and decent performances from Kent, Aribo, Morelos, Jack and the rest. 3 points at a tough venue is a great start.

Can’t believe more people aren’t talking about McKennas part in this. Even with multiple replays McCoist still says he gives himself a sore one. McKenna should be cited for this.
100% this, it should be a stick on for a citing. There's endangering a fellow pro like Considine did, then there's this. He maybe didn't mean that to be the end result, but Balogun wasn't going anywhere near that post if he didnt swing him into it.

Whilst we were comfortable throughout, although at 1-0 nothing is certain. So not sure if Balogun being hailed as MoM is a good sign.

Not many chances created either was a slight concern.

But 3 points up there is never a bad thing.

Our shape when the opposition had the ball was the best I've seen since Gerrard arrived, and looks to have been something that's been very much worked on. Time will tell, but some aspects of the team and the form of some players in a developmental context could be coming along nicely.

Most people agree that big Balogun didnt have much to do but that turn of pace to intercept anderson was absolutely crucial.

No slight on Helander but he would never have got there and it could easily have been 1-1

Goldson had a solid game but he was missing at that point
