This should be posted in the kerryfail thread but I’ll stick it in here, this is how they are reacting.

Anyone who genuinely thought this was the solution to last years calamity needs to get checked out. A last minute panic buy from an incompetent board who made an absolute erse of the Howe appointment.

His team are winning nothing. We’re an absolute train wreck from the top down, and it’s all self-inflicted. Mental.

Needed a freak deflection last week
Same lack of ideas this week.

It’s not taken the spfl diddies long to suss us.

Give it to Christmas? We’ll be 15 behind by then at the rate and that’s if we’re lucky.

A bus now with three flat tyres. A must win game that we didn't even look like drawing.
Outcoached by a convicted drug dealer. And ineffective subs again. My we have really struck it lucky with this undiscovered project.

The jury is out. And he better start getting results sharpish. We are rotten. No physical presence and getting bulliedby average teams.

I think they'll beat Aberdeen because it's Aberdeen and they've been shambolic this season.

Hibs on the other hand should be taking at least a point from them, probably all 3.

Is there a quest on FF from some folk to try and suck any kind of joy out of football?

It is hard enough enjoying the sport when we play in Scotland, with the media coverage we get, the refs, the opposition, the fact we share air with those scumbags, the fact we have a glass ceiling and are pretty much stuck at a level.

When you add in our own supporters telling us, time after time, that we cannot enjoy anything when we are ahead you have to start asking the question 'Just what exactly is the fucking point?'

Why would you watch what happened last season and genuinely come on a message board to tell people NOT to enjoy the car crash? Why would you seriously watch last season and tell people to be worried it might all come crashing down? Why would you do that, then come into this season spout the SAME shit?

If that is your reaction to be being top of the table, witnessing a clusterfuck over the way, you probably want to look at watching something different in your free time.

The SOLE reason football is such a success is the fact it brings us joy. Being ahead is joyous. Seeing your rivals struggling is joyous. If you find no joy in this, kindly fuck off and allow the rest of us to get it right up them. Ta.

Who's not finding joy in their pain? this last year has been glorious and it's not stopping any time soon. Even better that they all brought into him so much and being proved wrong.

Have you read this thread? It is the same as pretty much every thread last season. You could not, at 15 points ahead, say 'Looking good for the title lads' without the same 4 or 5 folk jumping on it, telling you 'One GaMe aT a TimE!'....

The comments on this thread from some are the same. It is almost like they are bloody miserable and want everyone else to be the same.

Couple of the scum fans in my work were talking today, saying that’s him in last chance saloon, honeymoons over and one more loss or draw and that’ll be them wanting him sacked before it gets worse. Said a bunch of their pals were booked for Leverkusen but they don’t even want to go now cause their scunnered with the team and know it’ll be a pumping lol.

Aye he’s been shite but you can’t say if we discount the games he’s won he’s even worse.
It’s a common technique in statistics to exclude outliers in a range of data to get a better picture.

So, for instance, when calculating an average, exclude the highest and lowest numbers.

You can’t just take away his best results, but if you take away his best and worst you could get a better idea. So a loss at Livi could be a fluke, but so too could beating ten-man St Mirren by 6 goals.

The way we are playing, it'll buy him more time imo. I don't see us not continuing to drop stupid points unfortunately.

I would say this season will be a throwback to before 2012. Us and them always dropped daft points and it was usually a single digit number separating the winners and second place. Last season was a complete anomaly.

Heard from an insider at Porkhead, wont name them. So dont ask and dont believe if you wish.

Big Angela wants his own backroom team pronto.

Angela v the Strachans, lovely.

The fact that they haven't allowed him to bring in his own backroom team backs up the theory that he is merely a fig-leaf to cover for the fact that Kennedy and Strachan are practically managing affairs (something their fanny base wouldn't countenanace).

Postecoglu and their support have been duped.

Their squad is paper thin. No way are they going to be able to cope with Europe then the league until Christmas playing the way their manager wants

The funniest part is they didn't strengthen their midfield at all. McGregor is the only reliable player they have in the engine room. Soro is a red card in waiting and McCarthy is a sick note.

Relying on the likes of Rogic and Turnbull (who struggle to play more than 60 minutes a game) to play 60+ games in a season is hilarious.

So they're saying the honeymoons over, why don't you go home?

I'll await the condemnation from Dornan and Useless.

We should be out of sight of them already. Given the start they have made, it's extremely frustrating to only be 4 points ahead of them.

Had we been on 15 or 18 points and they were on 9 right now, I reckon there wouldn't be a safe shark in Glasgow right now.

Caixinha, although a complete disaster, has a slightly better win rate than Flange.

Wonder if he'll reach 27 games. B-D

Celtic are skint. They couldn’t afford Howe or his backroom staff nor his transfer plans.

They can’t afford to give the current guy a backroom team. No one is wanting that job once he’s sacked.

They really are back to the days of the early 90s going from one disaster to the next. The only guy taking the job next is Mick McCarthy.

The hilarious thing is there are Celtic fans reading this post knowing every word I’ve said is spot on.

Postecoglu's record in competitive games so far

P14 W7 D1 L6 F34 A16

Excluding their 3-0 and 2x 6-0 wins against the 3 current bottom 3 SPFL sides that record becomes

P11 W4 D1 L6 F19 A16

Which is hardly dazzling at all. As many of us said their early 'sparkling form' was against weaker sides and they've failed in any sort of test they've had so far.

How long will the hordes last before they turn on him?
Have you seen their next two months of fixtures? Aberdeen, Motherwell and Hibs away!

The media and others who pointed out he has been a league winning manager in Australia and Japan, failed to point out that he took a season to bed into those teams before winning the respective leagues the following season, and had a win average of 50.5%, He's not getting 2 years at the piggery, and 50.5% win rate is not going to win you the SPFL. Steven Gerrard despite having 2 poor seasons has a 65.5% win rate.

He'll be gone by the new years old firm and we'll be 10+ points ahead by then

Everyone pointed out the concerns with postacoglues "you score 4 we'll score 5" , that sometimes teams just simply don't let you score 5, but that lot seemed completely oblivious to this.

At the end of the day he was their third choice last minute manager and it's clear as day why

Our defeat to Utd and draw on Sunday has saved Flange from a proper scum meltdown leaving Livi on Sunday

The scum would have waited outside until the team left and gave them abuse

We need to sort out our form and if we do and they keep dropping points Flange won’t make their Xmas video

Flange is lucky we have dropped 5 points

Dropping points at home to Motherwell is worse than losing 1-0 to Livingston away albeit they have been dross and a different team this season Martindale always gives us and them a difficult game at the Spaghettihad.

Until we can start winning games at home Motherwell and St Johnstone away comfortably we cannot laugh at Angeball just yet we should be well infront and we are giving them the air to breathe.

If we allow this Celt*c team to win the league this year it’ll be the biggest and most ever failure a Rangers team has ever done, our recruitment policy is was banked on the mentally challengeds shit show not being able to sort the mess out over there within a season and our team looks stale.

Plus we have players who are playing that are coming out of contract who’s eyes could be elsewhere.

Jeezo…….doomed, we’re dooooomed

Comedy viewing, he can't even look forward when talking. Talking into the ground, the pressure is getting to him already. I think they're going to drop points in 2-3 of the next 4 games and the pressure will be right on, looking forward to seeing the big man crack and start arguing with the press.

His body language is shocking. Looks like he’d rather be anywhere else.

Looking at the last 3 seasons a 50% win rate would see you in a battle for 2nd, probably just finishing ahead of 3rd.

You get a point for a draw, none for a defeat. So straight away our result isn't as bad.
You are correct but a draw at home to me feels like a defeat if I am being honest, I was walking away from Ibrox on Sunday and I felt gutted not only at the result but the manner in which we played in the second half.

Us not dropping daft points at Tannadice or yesterday, and they'd be having a meeting today at the Piggery to decide whether to sack Portaloo.
So a cunning plan to keep Ange in a job has been hatched by Stevie G.

Or simply we are having a sluggish start and no need to panic just yet.

CELTIC boss Ange Postecoglou has made his first backroom staff appointment since taking over the reigns at the club.

Ex-Morton interim boss Anton McElhone has joined the Hoops as the new head of sports science.

The 40-year-old left Cappielow in March after inheriting the Championship side's hotseat from David Hopkin, being permanently replaced by Gus MacPherson.
McElhone takes over the backroom role at Celtic from Jack Nayler.
He left his position at the club earlier this year in June to move abroad, joining exciting European side RB Leipzig.
McElhone has previously worked for Tottenham - spending close to a decade as academy and first-team fitness coach.
He then moved on to pastures new to become No.2 at New England Revolution in early 2018.
He also had a short stint at Bradford City with Hopkin, prior to the pair working together at Morton.
McElhone becomes Postecoglou's first appointment to his backroom team, with Gavin Strachan and John Kennedy, among others, still at the club from previous seasons.
Anton McElhone joining from Greenock Morton totally sounds like an Ange Postecoglu appointment! B-D
