Has Alfredo Morelos played his last game for Rangers?

No but I’d guess he’ll leave within the next ten days or so.

I don’t think he’ll start on Sunday but might come on at some point. Think we might drop our valuation a bit as well to get the deal over the line pretty quickly.
 
I actually think with all the chat that he had agreed terms with Lille last week and us bringing in the two strikers this week, Lille were told to wait until after tonight’s game. I think a price has already been agreed and he will be away tomorrow. Not ITK, just spidey senses.
 
On his performances lately I hope so ... however I really can’t see any club watching him tonight paying what we want ... so no I don’t think it was his last game
 
I would like to see him stay and prove doubters wrong? He has something to prove and having the new guys in with one up top with Morelos they could click and be lethal! We got beaten by a top team tonight and hardly played a passing game that we are capable of! Not many get pass marks tonight! If all the speculation has affected him I am not surprised! He can bounce back for us or for whoever he goes to but quicker it is sorted the better for all!
 
I love Morelos as much as anybody and was absolute gutted when the Lille news first came out but I think its time for him to go. He's not trying a leg and it shows. It will only affect us negatively the longer it goes on.
 
i hope so. Just focus on players who want to be there and the new guys we've just bought. Love Alfie but he clears is away or knows hes going already. Unless he sorts out his discipline then he'll look back at the end of his career and realise we are the biggest club he played for

No business would operate that way. If a deal was done he'd be gone. What if he done his knee tonight then what? We have spent the money to strengthen and hopefully win the league because that's what the board all want. If Morelos goes then more money will be spent to improve the squad that's still here.

A deal agreed in principle is what I mean, we would have wanted to keep ahold of him because we had no other striker option at the time for both the Aberdeen game and tonight’s game. I reckon it will be announced in the coming days about a deal.

Did we not agree a deal with Cedric Itten last week and let him stay until their final game of the season?

We just done the exact same thing with Itten, a deal was agreed with St Gallen with the caveat that if he got injured in their last league game the deal was off.
 
I dont think his heart is in it, its been this way since all the bad press was stirred up. It was up to him to bounce back and silence the critics, but it was possibly just too much. I honestly dont see a turnaround anytime soon for Alfie he should be in top shape but hes clearly not. I think hes for the off.

I doubt it. Who in their right mind is going to pay what we're looking for? Especially after watching him tonight. It's really not the time to sell him when he's off form and out of shape, no chance of getting what he's truly worth.
 
He was very lethargic but then quite a few of our players did not look that good.
Alfie needs to spend time in a sauna every day until he brings his weight down to optimum weight for his frame. We have specialist people with us and that's down to them to get him right, he's carrying too many kilos and it shows.

It happens all the time in football, any player with less than 6 months on their contact can sign a pre- contract deal worth another club but still play for their current club until the contract runs out. Jordan Jones for example.
 
Has been playing like someone who wants out and would sooner avoid an injury for some time now. Would have been so much.better off financially punting him in Jan but hindsights a wonderful thing
 
Now that we have other players available I think so. He's had no competition at all during the majority of his time with us.

Players can suffer lose of form, it happens. But for him to come back to competitive play as he has done is worrying. I'd be looking to ship him off.

You never know though, potential suitors will see the same as us and may decide to look elsewhere. The fact that we have Roofe and Itten might give him the impetus to kick on and put himself out there. If he wants is move, he might have to work for it again.
 
Time for him to go now was great watching him play and will be interested to see how his career progresses but let’s get the money in and re invest it with quality

Totally note the same thing. Clubs taking a chance on a player they can sign for free is totally different to paying 20 million and letting him play

Except that's not what happened. We hadn't agreed the deal with St. Gallon fully before the last league game and he requested to be left out to protect himself

I’m gutted to say yes but I think he has, when he’s on his game he’s the most complete striker in the country but he’s so uninteresting now that he is actually damaging the team.

He leaves with my best wishes but for everyone’s own good he needs to move and move now.
