would have no grumbles if it goes to edouard. He has had a good season, with the 2nd half letting Alfie down.
 
To be fair he wouldn’t have deserved it anyhow. It pains me to say it but Edouard is a far better player than Morelos. Hes very close to the finished article as a player yet Alfie is miles off it, both similar ages too. Although Alfie has the potential to raise his game.
 
He won’t get it but it’s nice for Morelos to be recognised for his season

He’s not a far better player mate. Was obviously more consistent in the second half of the season. But to say he’s a far better player is a bit wide of the mark.
 
Alfie’s best form was in Europe and it fell off a cliff after new year.

Think Eduard has been more consistent domestically
 
Edouard probably deserves it but only because Morelos decided not to turn up after December.

Thankfully Edouard will be sold this summer. They’re really going to struggle big time without him, he’s their main scorer but he also creates a lot.
 
Alfie should win it as he has been given more column inches than anyone by the discredited so called sports media pack as they tried collectively to derail his efforts, reduce his sell on value and ultimately destroy his career.
 
If it was based on the amount of copy those 'writers/journalists' got out of Alfie this past season he'd piss it.
 
Alfredo has shown against some of the best teams in their respective European leagues that he is a class above Eduard however he is lacking consistency and the mindset that Eduoard has.

Saying that , Eduoard doesnt have Rangers fans following him around trying to tinker with his car or abusing him the way the scum do to Morelos. That all plays a part.

Eduoard is also reffed to a completey different standard to Morelos.

He can score with his hand. Morelos scores with his hand he is sent off.
 
Scottish football is shite, McGregor is easily the best keeper in the land but not the best footballer in the division. Alfredo excelled in Europe against past European Cup Winners. Shankland has the fairytale element with earning Scotland caps in a lower division. Won't be either of those 3 though

Morelos may match him but Edouard does it far more consistently. As i say Alfie has the potential to do it but has ultimately failed thus far.
 
It’ll be a total poet clean sweep seeing as they have their asterisk title firmly tucked away in their cells. Had there still been a battle going on, we’d have been thrown a bauble or two to keep things sweet. No need now, the cunts will go to town.
 
How many times was Kris Boyd top goalscorer in the SPL and was never once voted POTY ? The journos would also do the same for one of that mob, guaranteed.
 
Edouard had an OK season up till winter break. Alfie had been immense. In the 2 months after January edouard was on fire and Alfie's form obviously dipped. Although he did have 1 definitely good goal chopped off maybe 2.
Edouard is a certainty to win it though
 
Edouard IMO, has been the best footballer in Scotland this season. 22 goals and 7 assists in 27 games.

If Morelos had kept his form up all season, he'd have been a strong candidate.
