All football below National league in England now null and void. No Promotion or relegation. All results expunged. . Precedent set

Here's hoping.... for the sake of Sporting Integrity whilst showing some humanitarian respect for life of all - it's the only option.

It's sad, strike this season off, and respect the reason why. We will still be lucky to start next seaaon in August

Surely now the English FA will at some point have to make the same call over the professional leagues?

They leave themselves open to huge criticism if they go with 2 different choices within the English football league pyramid system.

Now thats sporting integrity!! No way would my home team (Harrogate) allow Barrow who are 4 points ahead but have dropped 8 points in last 15, be given the title when not won.

Look, everyone, win our home game against St Johnstone and Celtic. And do what we did to the scum in December and they are 4 points ahead with 18 to play for. UNLIKE Liverpool our league is by far a certainty despite this 13 point propaganda that is being driven tiresomely.

Just noticed this is below national league, but its only a matter of time before this happens too.

The SFA/SPL Will not have the ballz to follow this sensible route!! In their eyes only one club matters in this country. They will be shitting themselves to upset the bheasts and the following lawsuits they will get. Wait and see.

Don't think this sets any precedent at all. This is minor league football, they do not have the massive sums of sponsorship and TV revenue that might be lost compared to EPL and EFL if they called the season null and void. And Scotland, IMHO, will just follow whatever the pro game in England decides.

Money is the driving forces in this insistence that come what may the season will be completed.

As title says , precedent set and to be honest the only decision which can be made other than finish the campaign in its entirety. Which ain’t going to happen.

The only sensible decision, ergo not the one that the SPFL will make.

A null and void league would allow monies to be divided equally between member clubs allowing those most in need to benefit most. Anything else is just a 9-in-a-row sham.

I’m no lawyer but surely when there’s no winners/losers it must be the safest manner to minimise the risk of litigation
Litigation at that level is never going to bankrupt you, so that was an easy one. Promotion from the Championship to the EPL is worth way over £100m. Relegation will lose you potentially the same. The EPL four CL places are worth maybe £40m. You can already just see a possible class action both ways that will talk to maybe quarter of a billion pounds in court room challenge and that’s one season, lawyers will pitch impact over many years, the FA will be shitting themselves. Absolutely no precedent has been set and whatever way it goes, the “big” leagues are properly Donald Duck’d. As for our own cesspit, they’ll restructure to minimise low end damage, appease Hearts and Dundee Celtic and open the way for the title to the tramps with only one club aggrieved. I’m not a lawyer either but that’s the easy out for the SPFL and SFA.

Unless UEFA declare it void, it’s a issue for each nation to address.

No income and the longer it went on clubs were struggling. Shocking for Vauxhall Motors who had already secured promotion. No one was mathematically relegated and they have postponed a restructure which gives teams time to plan.

Not that bothered as Buxton had a poor season but feel sorry for the teams at the top of league and the leaders of the division below who were looking good for promotion.

Yep
The fact they’ve done it for only the leagues below the national league says a lot
the prem. national LG is the one below div 2
below that are two lgs
northern and southern, no Decision has been taken yet on these.
What will probably happen is they will wait until the epl/elf decide then follow.

There’s absolutely no chance the football season is being rescheduled for later this year. It should and I believe will be declared null and void.

This just shows that money is the factor behind all decisions on leagues being null and voided or temporarily postponed, sporting integrity doesn't come into it.
English football in the higher leagues is clearly hamstrung by the risk of losing huge tv/sponsorship money, lower leagues don't have the same problem, making the decision to null and void the leagues far easier.

We are the equivalent of a lower league
SPFL get peanuts from TV!

I’m not even excited by the pending void announcement, to be honest I’d take losing the league over loved ones. Given where we have came from - let’s just hope we all live to see another battle.
