Am i going daft or did 2 Spitfires fly over Cumbernauld this morning?

I seen them flying over Stirling a few times mid morning into the afternoon.

I used to work there and once said to my colleagues "I swear I heard a jet flying over us".

Turns out a lot of RAF training happens out that way near the Ochils.

Might not be related to this particilar flight though.

They flew right over our building site in Dullatur

2 chinooks flying dangerously close to each other today over greenock.

Was out playing gourock golf course on Tuesday and the 2 chinooks were out doing manouvers, was brilliant. Got a video and a few pics

Was a Spitfire and a Mustang. My mate was up at Cumbernauld Airport where they came from. Were up for the Ayr Airshow I believe, Big man was fortunate enough to get a sat in both cockpits and help the Spitfire get into position for take off

I'm sure I seen a Chinook flying over near Perth on Tuesday afternoon as well.
