Fods has done a pretty decent job, a goalkeeper is only as good as his defence and last season wasn't a fair reflection. Sure, I wouldn't rate him above McGregor, but is a good keeper and saved us on numerous occasions, I've got faith in Foderingham coming in and doing the job required.

We are lucky to have fods as a back up keeper. He’ll do more than fine

I said at the time Firth was a very cheap (probably free!) player to play in the reserves and let our youngsters out on loan. I’m not even convinced he will be on the bench. We will have a clause in McRories contract that we can recall him if there’s an injury to Fod or McGreggor so I guess a short term suspension is probably the best he can hope of making the bench
