Have you already did this one Andy? Would like to see it.
Check out the different ways the players wear their socks, Davy Wilson seems to be the only player to get it right.
Is that artistic license with that jumper Davy Smith's wearing, or did he actually own a green one?
More a turquoise than green. I’ve no frame of reference to the actual colours and it’s hard not to just do various shades of blue. Adding a wee bit of green tends to get a response when I post on social media so helps keep the numbers upIs that artistic license with that jumper Davy Smith's wearing, or did he actually own a green one?
You know your market, keep up the great work it breathes new life into those original photos.More a turquoise than green. Reservoir Prods.
Hi mate.Hi mate, these are awesome!
Really interested in having a dabble myself with some of my family's old photo's, what do you use as reference for the colours? (apart from the obvious blues etc)
Gang of Rangers Mods on the search We shall take no prisoners.
It’s turquoise ;-)Big Dave Smith will be raging. A green jumper ffs.
I thought it was his tadger hanging out too LOL.Outstanding stuff you do mate however I'd be more concerned with the Rangers shorts than the blue leg.
Dunno why my eyes went to that straight away I know it's dirt but the mind saw it differently ha ha.
This is a brilliant picture. Original and updated version.
We need to ask Dave what was the colour of his jersey - are you sure green??I thought it was his tadger hanging out too LOL.
I just like to make sure our old photos look the best they can with or without colour as it’s these photos that tell a lot about the history of the club. Part of reason I’m delighted to be a contributor to David Masons new book with a number of my colourised images in a great historical record of our wonderful club
My favourite too. Harold Davis was a bit of a unitCracker.
As I said above a wee splash of green on a rangers pic when I post it online isn’t a bad thing as it always stimulates debate on the pic ;-).We need to ask Dave what was the colour of his jersey - are you sure green??
Yeh your right - prob less reaction and views if all blue!As I said above a wee splash of green on a rangers pic when I post it online isn’t a bad thing as it always stimulates debate on the pic ;-).
Don't want to seem pedantic , but the socks were blue & white that day as we were playing the Sheep at the piggery in a Scottish Cup semi final. I would redo the green & white in the scarves too.
Colin looking determined to rattle the “bead rattlers” in their own midden!
I knew it was Parkhead so guessed we weee playing “them”Don't want to seem pedantic , but the socks were blue & white that day as we were playing the Sheep at the piggery in a Scottish Cup semi final. I would redo the green & white in the scarves too.
It will eat away at you mate, wakening up in cold sweats knowing others are talking about you being a dafty for not doing it right.I knew it was Parkhead so guessed we weee playing “them”
Cheers for the info, if it was a pic I was doing for a customer or making some money on I’d make the changes but I’ll just go with a bit of artisticmlicence this time
At least I got the blue shirt…..;-)It will eat away at you mate, wakening up in cold sweats knowing others are talking about you being a dafty for not doing it right.
This just sums up for me what it was like to be a wee boy seeing Ibrox for the first time and hearing the roars from within - immense!

We need those gates restored to that position on Edmiston Drive, as the entrance to Edmiston House. This just sums up for me what it was like to be a wee boy seeing Ibrox for the first time and hearing the roars from within - immense!
