Another bear gone - Dougie Hendry, Partick

I'm always saddened to hear of the passing of a fellow Bear. Dougie was obviously a well liked and well respected guy by those who knew him. Condolences to Dougie's family members and his friends.

Knew Dougie as neighbour for a few years. He was a great guy, and loved that we were fellow bears. He was a tad jealous when he seen me going to the games as he was pretty much house bound. Rest on peace Douglas!

Dougie's funeral is at Dalnottar Crematorium next Friday 26th August at 13.30.

Sad day today, a great Mason and Rangers man has lost his battle with MS. Dougie Henry (63) who followed the Gers everywhere in Europe back in the day has lost his final battle. Dougie a well known face at Lodge Tower and the Old Partick loyal bus sadly passed away today. Never heard him once moan about anything.
RIP Dougie.

My thoughts are with Dougies Family and friends. Rest in peace sir. Hopefully Rangers give him a good send off tomorrow.
