Any Other Leagues Anywhere Considering Ending Their Season in January?

Non League in England will be as they have no income. Some teams got 6-10 games played and no chance of crowds anytime soon.

Looks like about the 8 tier in England you refer to.

Every other league in Europe looks to be about 18 - 22 games in.

Elite sport exemptions should be easy enough to follow and implement. If individual clubs are struggling to comply with the rules repeatedly, they should have their season ended.
Sounds fair to me.

Rabble rousing from the usual mentally challenged patsies by the look of things.

My guess is they will have a failed attempt in a bid to sour the achievement of us winning - all under the guidance of the fat Japanese.

Liewell and his lackeys really don't need to build the narrative themselves about ending the league, when we are putting out threads like this normalising the notion.
It shouldn't be lost on anyone that this is seeping in when we are six games short of the mark when the league was halted last year.
It's the scum's last desperate attempt to salvage this campaign, we shouldn't be listening to their propaganda

This season gets finished end of. Are we going to keep stopping and starting new seasons every few months before this shitshow ends? Money talks and there are contracts to be fulfilled. TV money is all some clubs have.

We need whoever we have in the press and media front and centre this weekend driving the questions of I), why is Maxwell, the SFA CEO, asking a question of Championship clubs that should be put if by anyone by the SPFL, ii), why are any questions re stopping football at any level being put when there are no significant infections being detected among football teams, iii), why is this happening in the week that the scum are having a hard time due to their Dubai stupidity, and we need to have them make clear that any attempt to move toward n & v will see the issue going to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Every other league is trying to work out how to continue. Our league like last time and with the assistance of Celtic is working out how to stop.

..... or is only the the Shitey Wee Republic of Scotland?

With the vaccine roll out things are more likely than not to improve safety wise.
blm would look like a wee arty farty party if they tried to pull that one on us.

They may not succeed mate but the cabal is not to be trusted. The missing Dundee vote tells you all you need to know about their MO.
Hasn’t Scotland got to provide two teams for next season’s CL and two for the EL therefore it can’t just void this season, if it was to happen Rangers should resign from the Scottish league and apply to join the English league

No club in scotland can afford football to stop, especially celtic given their lack of cashflow as it is.

Most football people, clubs, administrators, broadcasters, fans etc realise football is all folk have got at the minute. Everything else is fucked. Big Yogi Hughes said it gives something people can argue, laugh and talk about, in these times. Don't think that can be underestimated. Unless you're a mentally challenged. You want to emigrate to Neptune with the Outer space shamrock. Cunts are shameless vermin.

All league setups that are governed by people who support the team who are miles behind in 2nd place will be.

so no. Just our league

It’s all mind games
Lawwel knows fine well it would be catastrophic to null and void the league as sky would hammer us.
It’s more a case of them getting the usual suspects to get the whispers out there in the hope it gets in our players heads and they take their eye of the ball and start slipping up in the league.
It’s the same with all his poodles coming out with the league is over pish, he is hoping complacency slips into our team.
Fortunately Stevie G and the coaching team seem to smart too fall for that shit and are keeping the lads focussed .

Below the Championship is tricky when you start getting into part time football. I think part time football is going to need a season extension or start playing all midweeks after March. With the playoffs they might ended up squeezing the season.

The thing is if the League was properly governed and run with adequate sponsors they might be able to support clubs. Instead they have thrown well run ones to the dogs like Hearts and Thistle to keep their crackpot overseer happy. Shameful how partisan and craven the folk at the top like Doncaster, Mulraney etc are and that's the worst part for everyone in Scottish football.

Aye they will all be called shortly but the problems are stacking up at National League level now. Going to take a lot of luck to clear up the backlog. Same goes for some of the League Clubs but there is on way Professional Leagues can't finish.

This whole thing stinks.

We had a meeting of all SPFL clubs earlier this week and apparently the clubs were denied any sort of open debate about the lower leagues being suspended. No discussion, no gauging of impact on said clubs, no consideration of financial loss.

Then we have Maxwell (Chief Executive of the SFA) informing clubs that one of their members in the Championship wants to stop all football in Scotland. So, with no discussion or debate, he wants clubs to let him know by close of business on Monday (2 working days) if they agree with this position.

What's the hurry here? Why no explanation why this is happening? Why the SFA and not the SPFL?

Remember a couple of weeks back when Lennon said something about leagues stopping and some on here bitched about those that warned something was afoot? Well, the mentally challenged narrative has sure moved on a pace since then. Below championship has stopped, championship voting on stopping, discussion in full flight re the premiership in the media. Pausing the league or making it null and void with us so far ahead is the end game. Doncaster had the clubs given him the power to do so would have already enacted Lawwells bidding.

Rangers need to be working behind the scenes to ensure that if it comes to a vote we get the backing to continue.

Ironically, the UK are vaccinating numbers far quicker than anywhere else in Europe.

There is definitely a concerted effort to get football shut down now in this country by the game's governing bodies. This request to championship clubs is really sinister. The OP is right to question if we are the only country going down this route. And we all know the reason why. All so predictable.

Hope you’re right but last time they went to UEFA and said that most clubs had said they wanted to stop. They put it in a letter. That was before the clubs had been formally consulted and before the corrupt vote. They can’t be trusted.

N&V is nonsense, worst case league gets suspended for say a month. If so we only need to get to 30 games and it’s the same as last year. I don’t think they will suspend it, sky/bt will go nuts and hold back cash so they can’t afford do it. However they will ask each club what they want to do just like championship to try and show they know what they are doing.

The SPFL didn't bother about the financial consequences last season. And they won't this season either.
If the league gets stopped, the club's will be voting on a different resolution to the one they were offered last season.

Wasn’t many thinking of doing it in March last week year either but yet Scotland managed to do it.

Confident it won’t happen this time though.
