Anyone else noticed the subtle change to the RFC Badge since Hummel?

Sorry if already discussed.

I noticed a slight change to the RFC badge on the Hummel training wear the players have been photographed in. I'm beginning to wonder if this is a work around until the SD deal is completely over?

(The bottom of the R, seems different) - No sure how to post pics here these days, here's a link to what I mean.

Do we think the badge is embroidered? Hate training gear with printed badges, never bought any just looks cheap and nasty.

Had a look at some pics and if I had to guess I'd say it actually looks embroidered?

I can’t see that image but went to Instagram and had a look, and noticed the bottom of the F is slightly different on the white polos, but not on the blue training tops. You can see it clearly beside the watermark on club photos

When is this kit due to be launched? Did we get given a date? Must be soon since the sports direct deal finished recently.

How can a White polo shirt with navy badge and trim look 'horrendous'? It might not be to your taste, but hardly horrendous.

Because it looks like something you could buy in Primark for 2 or 3 quid. And I'm not knocking that, I've got a few of them that I wear in the house cos I've got a 2 year old who covers them in food and snotters. But for Rangers players to wear in public and photoshoots provided by a specialist sports manufacturer with a multi-million pound deal with us, I'd expect something better.

They look f*cking shite.

Those polo shirts really are horrendous looking.

It's a simple white polo shirt with a Rangers badge and some advertising on it. You have no idea of the quality or anything else, so must be judging it purely on appearance. Presumably, therefore, a top-of-the-range white polo shirt from whoever is in vogue right now would also be 'horrendous looking'.

What is it you would prefer? A different colour? A different badge maybe?

Because the look like £5 market jobbies with a weird cut to them.

They're certainly not form fitting or an athletic cut , they look like the type of shirts you see a builder firm buy online for a few quid and a logo.

I doubt it's the official gear.

I can't wait until we're back to normality with the retail side of things.

Kit announcements in May/June on sale for July.

You need to get into the Lounge and have a look at some of the clobber threads grandad.

Oh I've read them mate. Absolute madness the lot of them, much like the initial debates in The Bear Pit when Hummel were mooted.

It's a polo shirt FFS - for folk to lounge around in as semi-casual wear. It's not a 'fashion statement' and it's not something the players or anyone else is going to be wearing to a formal function or a night out at the club (I understand they don't call them 'discos' any more;)). The wearers will be football players or football fans - not bloody catwalk models!

Each to their own but they are footballers. They run about in training and get covered in mud and grass stains. I don’t think they are worried about form fitting shirts.

I doubt the Spanish tourists are commenting on the players polos during evening hours or on when seen on the local golf course either.

The Adidas or Nike crew would be calling the very same shirt ‘smart as %^*&’ if it wasn’t Hummel.

The gear will be getting all done proper as they have pushed some kit through to get them wearing it

It will all be bespoke when it launches

Have to say they don’t look any better than those big Mike was selling from his caravan. However without physically seeing one I’d better hold judgment;)

This has gone a long way off track from the OPs original point about how there have been subtle changes (not for the first time) to the RFC crest.:)

This thread is going to give a good percentage of the UJ fake wearers the excuses they are craving to justify not buying any of the real merchandise when it lands

The badge has been changed slightly, for years now. Not sure when or why?
Personally I prefer the older version & without the stars round it!

Aye I noticed it, posted about it a couple weeks ago.

Dunno how they’ve managed to feck that up.

Fixed for you

Looks cracking, not too dissimilar to one I just spent $140 buying out of Hugo Boss, to be fair the stuff over here in Florida isn’t the best.

Would post a picture but it’s packed away in my case.

Kinda wishing I hadn’t bought it now going by the reaction of the fashion police on here.

Can I ask a question, is it still acceptable to wear a polo top with the top button undone ?
