Anyone miss the flight home?

Was plenty CTM staff mate telling us where to go. Like you I never knew but found it easily
I honestly never seen one mate, since I got to the airport one of staff just apologised and said they were all moved round some corner and up by the police. Just glad I made the flight as I thought it woulda been gone by time I got to the airport ha.

Me two but still think some fans missed last bus at metro park and had to get taxi back to hotel which cost 400 euros approx
Just as well didn't leave till Thursday afternoon to Faro
But sports options would still go again
We were with Sports Options.
Ten minute walk back from stadium to metro station, then five stops on metro to pickup point where we had been dropped off earlier in the day.
We were back in the hotel in Huelva at 1:45am.
Terrific trip, very well organised as always.

Ryanair flight from Bologna cancelled today. Luckily booked through Kiwi and they arranged alternatives which got me home sooner. All done over the app , highly recommend after some bad reviews before travelling

Flight back from Seville to Madrid delayed over an hour which normally wouldn't have been much of an issue but had connecting flight to catch from Madrid to Heathrow. Feck me - what a run me along with a bundle of other bears had when we got off the plane. We were sweating like feck but somehow manged to get on the flight. All in all far to many flights-taxis-trains etc to get to Seville doubt I would do that again, will be a direct flight or nothing next time.

Am still stuck in Faro. Lost passport in Seville. Who knows when embassy will sort emergency passport said won't be until at least Monday.

I was very lucky with all my travel, flights and trains all on time.

Only clusterfcuk was my choice of hotel in Paris at Orly airport. 1 mile as the crow flies but I can’t fly. 1 hour 20 trudging round motorways and across slip roads at midnight. Receptionist had never known anyone walk it before.

Overwhelming sense of pride at the effort made by everyone to get there by any means necessary.

Forgive me for such an obvious question but, why didn't you get a taxi? Walking about motorways at midnight? Maniac :)

I thought I was being sensible booking a hotel so close to the airport, which technically it was.

I had it in my mind the hotel would be literally just outside the airport so transport was given a thought.

When I cracked open Google Maps I just assumed I’d manage a couple of short cuts that would cut down the walking time. I didn’t.

Always easy in hindsight bud. All part of the adventure I suppose :)

We had to fork out 900 euros for an Uber from Seville to Malaga. Only bit of bad planning on our part but there should have been more put on for our support.

My worst experience was with Ryanair on the way back was getting delayed in Madrid because the f.u.cking pilot got injured???!?? Only had a 50 minute connection to next flight.

Get a new pilot, delayed an hour and going to miss my connection in Majorca. Speak to the stewardess about whats the likelihood of them holding the next flight - none. Get off the plane and consign myself to having to book another flight.

Get in airport and see my flight is still flashing last call. Sprint through the airport and amazingly make it to the gate.

Get off the bus and climb the stairs to the plane only to find out its the same f.u.c.king plane

Our flight to Gatwick from Faro delayed 2.5 hrs which meant it was really tight to get the last train up the road, then coming into land the pilot threw the power back on (was coming in too fast) so another 20 mins lost, made the last train up the road by 3 mins:D
We were staying in Villamoura so the big worry was our lift back after the game, all went reasonably well as we were split up, us in the beam back and others at the game, Google maps a godsend.

I was on the same 1, if he never made an arse of the landing I would've made the 1910 at Heathrow. Fair play to BA they booked me on the 9pm, got home at 12am though

Sorry mate but, I'm chuckling at that. At least it was a Happy ending to what I imagine was a pretty stressful few hours.

Same here, I left right after the penalties and although I couldn’t see the coaches exactly where I expected them, there was plenty of CTM staff around to guide us, and in anycase I’d taken Ollie’s cellphone number from the CTM instructions, which I didn’t need.

Anyone getting back this weekend or from Monday - if you'll need a train when you get back to Scotland you really want to be checking the ScotRail website, loads are being cancelled over the weekend as they have been since last week and services getting cut by a third from Monday.

I thought they were on the same street they had advertised but just a bit further down. I was coach 12 and got told it was at the very end so just keep walking which I did. Plenty staff to keep us right.

We at Seville airport waiting to go to Agadir (Morocco) this afternoon. Three hours there then Barcelona until 10 am tomorrow then on to Brussels then on to Edinburgh. Back just in time to watch injury time in the cup final.
There's every chance you could have bumped into my son.
Missed his lift back to Malaga had to book a flight to Stansted via god know where.
Finally got home last night as he was lucky enough to cadge a lift home to Glasgow. from Stansted.
My wife reckons he should apply for mastermind and his specialist subject should be "Airports" as he's been in a fair number on his journey.

Wish I had met him, I might be home now instead of stuck in this shambles of an airport in Barcelona lol

Flight out from Newcastle/Amsterdam was held up by 15 mins so we missed connecting flight to Lisbon..got put on later flight at no cost and given €12 voucher !! We were told to complain to klm as we missed our train to albufiera...on return we turned up at Lisbon and flight to Paris had gone ...I played on the fact all correspondence from Air France had been in French so we couldn't read it ( not the fact we'd tanned the beer on Thursday night ) ..we were put on 2 later flights to Paris and Newcastle, arrived back in the UK late last night...then to round it off I couldn't find my car in the car park ..took an hour to locate it B-D ..result apart its been an unbelievable 4 days

Despite being at Malaga Airport 2.5 hours before the flight last night, myself and a few others missed it. Utter carnage. Absolutely no assistance when we said to the Airport staff that time was getting short. Even worse when we went to the Ryanair service desk. Got told the Police were coming to deal with it. WTF ??????

Managed to book BA, and now enjoying a wee libation at the Glasgow Indoor Bowling Club before heading to Hampdump later.

5pm madrid to Amsterdam then evening flight to Glasgow.... Will miss the full fkin game currently on the maze that is madrid metro

Got a couple of mates stranded in Dublin after Ryanair pulled a flight to Glasgow last night, they were quoted £400 for a hotel room last night. The last I have heard they won't be back to see the game today.

My flight home from malaga was 5pm from Malaga airport which was on time, but met a few lads that had missed their flights and had been at the airport since 2am the previous morning, buy had been trying to phone all day to get another flight

I’m in London Kings Cross waiting on 3pm train to Edinburgh.

Attempting a pint and my insides are screaming at me and I feel funny.

To say I’ve over done it since last Saturday night would be an under statement.

All going well I’ll be in my own bed tonight rather than as planned tomorrow morning.

We flew into Dublin from Bilbao just before 6 last night. 3 of us then got the Bus to Belfast but 1 was booked on the last Ryanair flight to Glasgow at half 8. It was delayed 40 minutes, but it went. I didn't see any Glasgow flights showing cancelled.

Got into Aberdeen about 10.45pm last night from Alicante via Amsterdam however KLM appear to have decided that my wheelchair would like some time apart from me as they still haven't told me where it is, I kid you not.
