New season approaching, another potential strike:

11 clubs are in disagreement with the structure of the relegation and the use of the promedios. Essentially the 11 (those most threatened by relegation) want there to be only 2 relegations via the promedios and the other 2 to be decided from the 2019/20 league table. Plus they want the points reduction given to San Lorenzo & Huracán to be reinstated.

Argieball is back, or maybe not.

The Superliga begins on Friday and President Mariano Elizondo has now stated that there will THREE relegated sides NOT FOUR after last week's disagreement with the clubs. This will be confirmed by the executive committee on Wednesday.

Apparently, they'll keep doing this until 2023, to bring the Superliga down to 20 teams rather than the 22 that had been talked about until now.

Great scenes at the airport as De Rossi arrived in BA. Fair play to him - he could have retired or gone to the US/China but here he is.

A decision expected soon on the Pavon to LA Galaxy deal. All down to the player. Great for the MLS if he does sign but can't imagine a good move for Pavon, in footballing terms at least.

Is there anyway to watch live games in UK??? Used to use futbol para todos on youtube

As mentioned by dcbear fanatiz.com is the only legal way to watch the game in the UK. Obviously the games can be found elsewhere but no longer on Youtube - that stopped with the change in Government.

Boca knock back latest bid for Pavon from LA Galaxy. Not sure they'll get what they're hoping for.

Disappointing start to the season for Boca, didn't really deserve more than the draw.

Gallardo complaining about likelihood of Copa Libertadores dates in the lead-up to the Superclásico.

Although not confirmed, it's been hinted River's 2nd leg in Paraguay will be on August 29th. Boca's home 2nd leg will be on August 28th meaning Boca will have one extra to rest/train prior to the September 1st clash.
